Officer Hope (Jihope)

Jimin's POV

I was walking home from university when I noticed a boy crying by himself in a nearby park bench. Before I knew it, I was walking towards his direction and sat beside him.

"Why are you crying?" I asked while patting the boy's back.

"A-a stranger t-took my t-teddy." He said between his sobs.

I can feel my blood boil, thinking what kind of twisted person would take a child's toy?

"Do you know what he looks like?" I asked.

"I don't kno- OH!! That's my teddy!!" He said while pointing towards a certain person.

I looked at his direction and saw an officer walking towards us holding a teddy bear in his arms.

"Is this yours, little kid?" The officer said while smiling.

"Teddyyy!!!!" He said while reaching out the given teddy bear and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you Mr. Police." He said running happily and leaving us alone.

"Kids these days~ I found that teddy on the sand box, I think he forgot where he put it and randomly said someone took it instead. Well, who are you young man?" he said smiling.

"I'm just a passerby and why are you calling me young man? I think our age difference is not that big." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I'm your shining light of hope and justice, Jung Hoseok. But everybody knows me as J-hope. I'm 24 by the way." He said proudly.

"I didn't ask.. but hi Hoseok hyung. My name is Park Jimin, I'm 21." I said awkwardly.

"What a cute name!! Well, I gotta get back to work. You can call me whenever you get into trouble. Byee Jiminiee~~~" he said skipping through the park.

What a weird guy.

"Hey bro?" My twin, Taehyung called me when I'm sitting at the sofa watching TV.

"What?" I replied not bothering to turn my head towards him.

"Are you going to the convenience store later?" He asked

"Maybe... our food stocks are kinda low." I said to him.

"Oh.. having a bad day?" He quickly changed the subject and sat beside me at the sofa.

"Not really.. but wow.. it's rare for you to ask me something like that." I turned my head to him surprised.

"Unless you have something you want.." I squinted my eyes towards him.

"Hey!! I'm not that bad." He said while laughing.

I snorted and return my gaze towards the TV.

"Do you know there's a new officer in town?" I asked Taehyung.

"Huh? I don't know. Who is it?" He asked.

"A guy called J-hope...."

"Oh! Him! I knew him. He's not new at all. Everybody knows him." Taehyung said.

"Really?" I asked turning my gaze.

"Yes! He's very kind and not to mention handsome. Everybody in the neighbourhood likes him. Damn I would've fallen over heels for him if I hadn't had Kookie with me." Taehyung said with a pout.

"If you don't like Jungkook anymore, just broke up with him and date that hope officer." I said plainly.

"NOO!! Nope nope nope nope nope. Who said I don't like Kookie anymore? I LOVE him. He's my life, my energy. I would've died without him. Do you want to see me die, brother?" He said with a dramatic tone and act.
