[Harrys point of view]
I looked in the car Skylar asked me too, no pink headphones. So I continued to look for another car like this one, assuming this was the type of car she drove. The fact that it was dark outside made it really hard to see. Walking around the parking lot, i turned down a row and then I heard the sound of feet running away and looked to see that Skylar was gone.
I reached into my pocket getting ready to call her, oh dammit, I didn't have her number, how did I not ask for her number, I'm so stupi- *sound of tires screeching* I turned around in the direction the noise came from. I started getting worried. I walked all around the parking lot to find her. I saw a huge truck speeding out of the lot, as I walked closer down the road by the exit, I saw someone on the ground. I recognized the little pink jacket and realized that the person on the ground was Skylar. I ran over and sat down on the ground and put her in my arms.
"Skylar, Skylar can you hear me?" My stomach sunk. I was speechless, Seeing her lifeless was heartbreaking. Even though she looked like an angel. I took of my jacket and wrapped her arm the best I could, I started to pick her but then her phone started ringing. "Riley" flashed on the screen. I swiped over to the answer button.
"Hey Skylar I saw you with that guy from the show! The one you like yeah? hahaah you were all cute by the firepi-"
"Hey Riley is it? Hi, this is Harry, Riley i need you to listen to me, Skylar got hurt, Bad, im taking her to the hospital now okay?"
"wait, what is going on who's Harry? are you prank caalling me dude? like wow man" Riley slurred.
I had no time for this, she was slammed. I hung up on her and stood up, picked up Skylar and headed to my car and off to the hospital.
1:30 a.m.
I pulled into the hospital, parked and carried Skylar into the ER.
"Someone! I need help, my friend got hurt really bad, she won't wake up, I think her arm is broken, I wrapped my jacket around it but I-" "Skylar!! Oh my gosh what happened? Who are you? Is she drunk? What Happened?!" Some lady cut me off and started to hammer me with questions, I just stood there wide-eyed. "I don't know what happened, I'm Harry, and no she isn't drunk." I answered very fast. "Okay Harry, thank you but I can take it from here" the nurse had two men bring one of those bed things, and took her down the hall. I could feel a rope between me and Skylar being cut. The nurse turned to me and motioned for me to take a seat on the bench in the hall. "Harry, Sorry about all those questions, I'm Nurse Williams and you see Skylar is my daughter, seeing her like that just turned on the crazy mom switch.." oh well, this is a strange way to meet someones mother. "I don't really know what happened. Skylar and I were walking to her car, she ran off, then I found her on the ground." I looked down at my feet, and started messing with my hands. I felt horrible. "I'm sorry if you feel like this is my fault. Mrs. Williams It's not, I promise you." She nodded slightly and looked over to the entrance. "My husband died last year..That's why I'm so skittish when it comes to Skylar being hurt." She started to go on about her husband and how Skylar means the world to her. I know she was just venting, I Just sat there and listened. She is a great mom. Her and Skylar have a remarkable bond and I find that incredible.
"Nurse Williams, You're needed in Room 241" The woman at the desk said. She jumped up and practically ran down the hall. I guess that's where Skylar is. I wish I could go, but I don't want to get in the way.
1:52 a.m.
In Room 241 [skylar's moms point of view]
I walked into the room, my stomach was turning, I couldn't be mom right now, the emotions we're too strong. My baby girl is hurt, and I already lost one love of my life I can't even fathom how hard it is seeing Skylar in pain. "Nurse Williams I understand if you can't be in here, I just thought you would want to see how she is" Dr. Reeds said. "I can do this, Let's just move forward and run some tests.." It was hard holding back the tears. "Are you su-" "Can we just do this!!?" I cutted him off. "Right, okay well we already sent someone down to get the blood test back to see if she had anything in her system, clearly her arm is broken, we scheduled surgery for that, all you need to do is change her clothes, and stay by her side." "Well, I can do that, I have been since she was born" "Nurse Williams don't get emotional, I know this is hard, But she is alright, just a broken arm, she did have a concussion, but everything is back to normal and she is just asleep from the medicine we gave her." "Alright, that makes me feel better." I decided to leave her clothes on, I wanted her to sleep. She looked at peace. I cut off her right sleeve of her jacket to check out the arm, the other nurse started to clean it and we waited until it was time for surgery.
[Harry's point of view]
It was almost 3 in the morning. Mrs. Williams sent a nurse to give me a blanket and pillow so I could sleep in the waiting room but I couldn't sleep, too much on my mind, Skylar was about to go into surgery and I know she'll be okay but I would rather be awake for that. This night was officially the craziest night ever.
"Harry! Harry wake up!"
"Wha? What happened? Is she alright??" I asked, still half asleep.
"Harry she's alright, She is asleep. But it's 7 in the morning, Don't you have to go home?"
"Mrs. Williams my parents know I'm here, Skylar was sort of my responsibility considering the fact that I found her, I will wait here until she wakes up, if that is alright with you?" She smiled and accepted my decision.. "Wait, What does Skylar like for breakfast? I was going to go to Mcdonalds, what should I get her?"
"She likes the hashbrowns there, and the bacon."
"alright haha, what about you?" "oh no, i'm fine sweetie thank you though." and with that, I headed to Mcdonalds.
When i got back to the Hospital, I felt nervous to see Skylar, I didn't know why. The butterfly tattoo was speaking to me obviously. (Butterflies in my stomach) I hope she is awake. I wanted to talk to her and ask what the hell happened.
I was on the floor she was on, I checked in and walked down to her room. She was asleep, she was so beautiful. Her hair was out of her messy ponytail and neatly washed and placed on the side of her shoulder. The dirt marks were off her cheek, and her arm was in a pink cast. Her hospital robe looked funny, it had rainbows and clouds all over it. I laughed and placed her food on the tray by her side. I took a seat and just looked at her for a minute, you could hear her little snore, she really was adorable. I took the remote from her hand and turned on the TV, I watched Malcom in the middle until I fell asleep.
