"Damn it, Jauregui you grew some balls," Lucy laughed as the two of them walked. They were in the airport, by the way. They were waiting for Lucy's fiancée. That was right, her fiancée.

Her name was Veronica. They met in Hawaii when Lucy and the couple, Lauren and Camila went there with their families to celebrate Lauren and Camila's five-year anniversary. They were dating for two years before Vero proposed to Lucy which she gladly accepted.

"Stop calling me Jauregui. It's like you calling yourself," Lauren rolled her eyes at her stepsister. There was it again - they were stepsisters now for almost seven years. The reason why Mike wasn't favor of their relationship was because he was dating Lucy's mom. Wasn't that a big twist of fate?

"Also, it wasn't me who grew some balls," Lauren added shamefully.

"After seven years of planning it, you'll tell me that Camila was the one proposed to you?" Lucy asked, trying to hold her laughter. "So who's taking who?"

"I'm taking her surname."

"Why? 'Cause she's your daddy?" Lucy teased, reminding her that night when she caught the two of them having sex and Lauren was screaming that word loud.

"Shut up," Lauren scoff, her cheeks turning bright red. "You know, sometimes I don't know why I even dated you."

"You couldn't resist this booty," Lucy winked playfully.

Of course, when they broke up, they weren't buddy buddy with each other at first because, hell, it would be so freaking awkward. Lucy also went back to Miami after that and Lauren moved back with her father and siblings. But after their parents got married, Lucy and her mom moved with the Jauregui's and Lucy and Lauren were back on track as if no time passed.

"Here comes your daddy," Lucy laughed as she noticed Camila approaching the two of them, earning a punch from Lauren in the arm. "Oww!"

"You deserve it, fuckwit," Lauren hissed while facing Camila with a soft smile. "Hey babe," she greeted, placing a kiss on her fiancée's lips.

"Hey Lauren's daddy," Lucy taunted Camila, causing the girl's face to turn red.

"Shut up, Luce," Camila playfully rolled her eyes.

"Make me," Lucy teased more.

"I would, but we're not single, babe," Camila joked.

Camila and Lucy became friends, too. No hard feelings. Lucy knew that Camila would be the best for Lauren, and who was she to stop her best friend from being happy. At first, Camila felt awkward whenever Lucy was around, but Lucy confronted her, saying that there was nothing to be afraid of. Then Camila grew close to Lucy. They even treated each other like siblings right now.

A few moments of bickering from the three, Veronica came. Lucy was really happy to see her fiancée that she literally jumped on her and hugged her so tightly. The other couple's hearts warmed at the sight and they kissed each other when the Lucy and Vero did.

"Hey this is our moment," Vero pouted at the other couple kissing and laughing when they pulled away. Lucy immediately kissed her lips and made out with her in public, earning a few stares from here and there - some were good stares and some were bad, but they didn't care.

"Mind your business, people!" Lauren shouted and the people staring instantly went back to their own businesses. Camila pulled her into a kiss, too, savoring each other's lips as if it was the last time they would see each other.

The two couples made their way out the airport and went straight to the Jauregui's residence to meet up with Mike and his wife.

"When was the wedding?" He immediately asked the moment they entered the house.

"Probably next year, Dad," Lucy said, laughing when Vero's face reddened.

Well, to say it was a happy ending was an understatement. Love was really the unstoppable force, wasn't it? And these two couples were present to prove it - that love was and always would be present in every way. As best friends, as friends, as couples, it was always present.

And fast forward to the wedding, the two couples had a double wedding due to Mike's request because he said that he wanted to witness a double wedding before he'd die - in reality, the stepsisters knew that he just wanted to save money. But regardless, it was a really wonderful day for them. It was a day they would never forget. All of them had a happy ending because of the pain that they once endured. Wasn't pain beautiful sometimes?
