Chapter 4:First Date ?

The car ride was silent besides his humming and the pen that would hit the paper of his notebook every now and then .
When he wasn't writing he'd look over and smile at me ,I knew that because I would look at him through the corner of my eye .
I pull into the driveway parking the car ,and taking out my keys .

"Your place is really nice ..for a waitress ."

"What that suppose to mean ?"

"That I'm just saying how are you making it with all the bills and Wilson ."he says as we step in the elevator .

"Yeah it was hard ,but my parents did make a lot of money so they gave me enough to get started and when Wilson turned three I started back going to college .So I tend to work a lot ,go to school ,and my parents send me money every now and then . "
We step out of the elevator and start to walk down the hall as I reach my door I can hear music was blasting from the inside .By the sound of it I already knew who the singer was .I open the door and Wilson was standing in front of the tv with his Ukulele singing one of Andrews songs .
"No way ."Andrews expression said it all .The way his smile spread from ear to ear .His eyes lit up with happiness .He was just so happy .

"Moooommmy !" Wilson says hugging me .

" He likes music ? "

"Does he ? Check out his room ."

He walks into Wilson's room and freaks out . Everything was in there a small drum set ,microphone ,violin ,all there is to it you name it .

"That's really my kid ."
He smiles .

"I guess . "

"Wil baby come here ."

He jogs over to me almost tripping over his feet .
"Daddy here is going to watch you is that okay babe ?"

"No mommy I don't want you to leave me ."he whines .

"Your dad is going to watch you and RoseMary will be here ."

"No I won't , I've got something to do tonight ."she says coming out of her room .

"Moooooom." Wilson whines .

"Wilson Andrew Bryne if you don't sush your mouth and stop whining I am just going to be gone for a couple of hours .Stop making this hard on me .I'm really trying to make everything easy on you on me ,but you're not making it any easier Wil .Can mommy go out ?"

"But but - are you going to come back ?"he says wiping his eyes .

"Mmh of course baby . " I say looking at the clock and its 6:30 and I need to take a shower and get ready .

"Hey baby why don't you show dad your room and play for him." I smile .
So does Wilson ,he pull Andrew to his room to show him his instruments .

I hop into the shower ,and wash up and get out . By the time I get out of the shower it's 6:55 .
I rush to my room with a towel wrapped around me.
I pull out two different outfits
Outfit number one ,Black cardigan ,black shirt ,ripped light blue jeans with white slip on vans .

Outfit number two .Simple white shirt olive green cardigan black jeans and white converse .

"BABE ! " I call .

Still nothing .

"WIL BABY COME , MOMMY NEEDS YOUR HELP ! "
Wilson comes rushing in the room along with Andrew .
He already knew what I was going to ask because he pointed at outfit number one and said "That one mommy ."

"Thank you babe."I said kissing his forehead .
He runs out of my room and back into his .
"You know after I left ,and I got me a home of my own I would sit and wait for you to barge in the door ...like you use to ." He laughs "Then I realized I'd left such an amazing person behind and instantly regretted it ." He says.
"I mean how could I have been so selfish ,when I knew I was leaving a piece of me behind ."

"You weren't ...you weren't selfish ,look all of your hard work paid off so it's fine .Besides its not like I was alone all this time ..but I did have a lot of hate for you ."I say honestly .

"Why did you hate me ? "

I didn't want to say ..that Wilson was the one to see me get beat ,he was the one to see my busted lip once Robert's fist hit it .When me and Wilson were all alone and the nights that Rob came home drunk just to put his hands on me .So many times when Andrew could have been here to help me ,but he wasn't .So many times when I went to the hospital for something broken or fractured maybe even busted because of my ex fiancé . Yes ,I stayed with him because every time he put his hands on me I thought I was the reason why .Why because I could never do anything right . That was until I met RoseMary or just Rose .I was so stupid ,I was going to walk down an aisle to Marry that stupid stupid son of a bitch ! Rose told me if I know it's not right then run ,and if I decided to run then she'd be my get away driver . So that's what I did ,I ran and took what I needed with me .
I knew Andrew was somewhere out there ,but he left me .All those nights I cried myself to self and I needed him and he wasn't there .

"Why are you crying ? " he asked .

Fuck me .

"Something probably get in my eye ." I say wiping away the tears .

"I know you nothing has got in your eye ."

"You don't know a thing about me ." I snap .
"I've got to get dressed ." I say rushing in the bathroom .
I rush and put in my clothes because it's already 7:30 .
I pull out my phone and text him the address .
He replies with an 'On My Way .'
After I'm done getting dressed I slick my hair into a nice neat bun .

"You look very very gorgeous ."

"Thank you . "

"Don't think I forgot though ,when you come back we need to have "the talk" you know about your feelings . " he says .

"Whatever ."

"I'm serious ."
My phone buzzes I get a text saying .

'I'm outside should I come get you ,meaning I would need your apt number or do want me to just wait ?'

'I'll be out rn ,give me just a minute :))'

' ;))) Anything for you . '

"Okay ,everything will be fine as long as you don't give Wilson any candy . I'm trying to keep him away from sugar .Oh and he really like to watch Grey's Anatomy for some reason so if you put it on he'll sit and watch it .There is leftovers in the fridge ,or you can just make something different it's your choice .Okay I'll see you guys later . "

I say closing the door .
Once I get outside ,I actually don't know what kind of car he drives so I stand there just looking around ,until I see him at a black Nissan Frontier .

He runs to the passenger side to open up the door for me"You look very beautiful ." He says .

"Thank you ."
When I get in the car I hear this loud rumble and then out of no where all this rain just comes pouring down .
"It's beautiful ."I say .

"The rain ?"

"Yes , of course it helps me think ."

"Well if you like it then I like it .So where do you want to eat ?"

"I don't know ,I haven't had a plain sand which in a long time ..I don't want to go anywhere expensive either ."

"Then let's go to my place ."

"Whoa whoa whoa I don't know if you know this but I'm not that type of girl..."

"And I'm not that type of guy .You said you want a sandwich so I was thinkin we could order subway go back to my place watch some movies or maybe even the rain .I do see you Makayla I see you've been hurt ,that's why I wanna get to know you."
