Chapter 3: Is It Too Late ?

Is it too late to take back the words that left my mouth ? Yeah it is .
Was I wrong ? Yeah I was .
But was it true ? Kind of .

He had someone come to come pick him up from my house ,he left but he said nothing leaving the house .

"Mama is papa coming back?" Wilson asks .

I look into his muddy green eyes and I can see the sadness in them .

"I don't know baby ..."
I answer honestly .

"Am I going to work with you today ? "

" Do you want to ? If not Rose can watch you ."

"I want RoseMary to watch me ." He says .

"Well okay babe ,I'm going to go shower ,I'll make you some cereal so you can watch tv okay in her room okay ."

I do as I told him I would ,freshen up in the shower and get dressed . I slip on a long sleeve black shirt and black pants also my black high top vans .Black is a happy color .
Getting in my car I leave for work .
I open up today so Tom ,Burt ,Kelen ,and other co workers wait for me .

Hours in to my shift ,the same guy that was there yesterday .The one that was flirting with me was back .

I walk over to his table to take his order.

"Hey beautiful ." I'm not really wanted much ..so hearing compliments like that is very not normal .

"Hello sir ,can I get you a drink today ?"I smile .

"Hmp yeah I'll take two lemonades ."

Two ?

"Sure ,and are you ready to orderr ?"

"What's your favorite thing on the menu ?" He asked .

"I don't really know ,but the barbecue cheeseburger is pretty good ..I guess you could get that ." I say .

"Mmmh sounds good I'll take two ,and I want to speaks to your boss . "

With a simple head nod I walk away .
I give the order to Burt and start to feel the drinks .
I take them to his table with Barbra the manager following close behind .
I sit the drinks down and go to take more orders .

As I'm handing orders to Bob my boss comes and taps me .

"MaKayla ."

I gulp "Yes ? "

"You see that gentle over there ?"

"Yes "I repeat .

"You're going to sit and have lunch with him . "

"What ?"

"You heard me , you know we do whatever we can to make our customers happy .Now get your booty over there ."

I nod and take off my apron and go sit at his table .

He slides me a lemonade and smiles .

"MaKayla you don't think I notice you ,do you ? " he says

"Well no one really does ..sir ."

"Please call me Sebastian ." He smiles .
I have to admit he is very handsome .
He looks as if he's really tall ,hazel eyes ,nice black hair ,perfect white teeth and he has alittle meat on his body which I admire because I'm not a stick and I want a man with alittle meat .
