Once were in the car, my lap is full of junk food that me and Niall will probably polish off in less than an hour. "I wanted to show you something tonight Lowri" Niall says ending the quiet but yet not awkward car journey. "Sure, what is it?" I question him, trying hard not to let my ear to ear grin take over my entire face. "You'll have to just wait and see" I roll my eyes and resume my glance out of the window.

We pull into the familiar driveway that is Niall's house. Insisting that he would take my bags in, Niall lugs my too full bag into his house. He takes them up to his room, and chucks the bags on his bed. "So what was it you wanted to show me?" I question once more, hoping that this time he would fulfil my request. Without saying anything, Niall walks to the corner of his room and get's his guitar out. "This song is for you" he starts strumming the intro to a song I've never heard before. My breath is taken away as he starts to song the first line.

As he plays the last line I can feel the tears threatening to fall at the brim of my eyes. It's silent when he finishes. I quickly wipe my eyes, in the hope that Niall doesn't notice my foolishness. "What do you think?" He asked shyly. There's a pause. "Niall, you're... Amazing, I didn't even know you were this talented" my shocked tone very visible in my voice. "You think I'm good" he asks in disbelieve "good? You absolutely amazing!" I can't believe he kept this hidden for so long! Niall's cheeks redden at my compliment. "How come you didn't tell me about your hidden talent?" I ask him. "Because I didn't think I was very good" he admits, his eyes fixated to the floor. "My mum heard me and told me to audition on the X Factor, I want to, this is my dream, but I know I won't go very far" "don't put yourself down like that, you could be an artist if you want to, and I know you'd go far" he smiles up at me. "I've applied to-" I don't let him finish "really , oh my gosh! Niall your gonna win it" he laughs at my childish actions. "Yeah, I'm going in April to audition" he says. I can't help but engulf him into a hug. He hugs me back very tightly.

After we'd finished out little happy dance sessions plainly asks "have you got any hidden talents I don't know about?" I blush at his question. "Well I okay a bit of the guitar and I like to song but I'm not very good" I reply. He passes me his guitar, wearing his gorgeous smile. "No, no I'm not very good, well not as good as you!" "Don't be silly I et your really good" he insists. I reluctantly grab the guitar. I start to strum the chords and then start to sing, I overdid the intro just because I really didn't want to song in front of him, but in the end I decided to just get it over with.
