Loki woke up, and sat up straight. He looked down and touched his wound. Then he looked out the window. It was dry outside. He tried to stand up, but he hurt too much.
Then Cody came out of the bedroom, rubbing her shoulder. She looked to her side and saw Loki awake. “A-are you okay?” she asked.
Loki nodded slowly, “yes…”
“Do you want to go into the bed?”
He nodded, “I can get there myself,” he told her before slowly standing up. He uses his staff to help him; Loki winced in pain before walking to the bedroom.

Several hours later, Loki woke up. He groaned slightly before getting out of the bed. The light flickered on. Loki sighed in relief. The electricity was finally on.
He slowly got up, wincing, and walked out of the bedroom. He sat on the couch and looked around. Cody walked into the same room, shivering slightly. She sat down on the other side of the couch and wrapped her arms around her knees.
Loki looked at her, “are you still cold?”
“J-just a little, but I’m fine.” She told him.
He nodded, looking around, “… have I ruined your life?”
Cody looked at him and shook her head, “no. Why would you think that?”
“Nothing,” he replied.
She nodded slowly. They both shivered. “Cold or scared?” Cody asked, looking at him.
“Cold… I didn’t know Jotuns could get could,” Loki replied, a hint of fear in his eyes.
She sighed, “Same.”
Loki hugged her tightly; Cody hugged back, closing her eyes.
Loki smiled, “you’re really warm…”
She blushed a little, “thanks… I think?”
He nodded, “it’s a complement.”
Cody nodded and gave him a quick squeeze before Loki rested his head on her shoulder. There was a tiny silence before Cody piped up.
“… I feel like someone’s watching us…”
Loki made his staff appear, “so do I.”
