May, 8 BP – Before Peace
Yasaka slammed his head on his table. In front of him, sitting on a chair, Higokaru sweatdropped. With how bad news was plunging in lately, his employer had been doing the head-desk action multiple times, probably in an effort to remove his stress and anger.
"What did Shun just say?" Yasaka spoke with a muffled voice, but still Higokaru could hear him. As Yasaka's (unwilling) secretary he had to endure it. Just endure it.
"Um... Shun intercepted a message from... Lord Tizio Acaso, it seems. The message was new, so it must have been written a few days ago." Higokaru handed an envelope marked with a blue swallow to his employer. Yasaka raised his head and accepted the envelope with a resigned sigh.
Yasaka opened the envelope with Higokaru watching from besides him.
'Whomever this may concern,
As you may or may not know, I am known as Tizio Acaso, Supreme Lord of the Far East. I have delivered this message to you for a simple reason. You know what I want; conquest of this world. And so, I have, in my supreme feat of generosity, entrusted the honor of... exterminating anyone who might rebel against my rule. Any and all individual who are untamed must die in the name of the Rondine Kingdom. No arguments allowed. Everyone must bow before me. I will move at July.
Sincerely, Your Lord, Tizio Acaso the Sixth'
"What the..." Yasaka was shocked. This is the first time he'd heard of another kingdom in the Far East. Last time he checked, the Far East was a barren wasteland devoid of life, so how the heck someone managed to build a house, let alone a kingdom, in that hellhole?
And from the looks of it, this Tizio Acaso person wanted to take over his city. That was bad. Shun, Finn, and Rufus was still recovering from the fight against Hisuke. That left Higokaru, Dominic, the new recruit Kagerou, and himself.
If not for the fact that the enemy will come at July, Yasaka would have banged his head on his desk right then and there. He needed to assemble his troops for the upcoming war.
"Higokaru, let's check up on them." Yasaka made it a daily routine to see injured personnel on the hospital, be it army or not. The strike force in particular was down, with two of its' main people unconscious and the cannon fodders resting at their own house, exhausted from the trip to the border.
"'kay Boss." Higokaru set down the files he was carrying and followed Yasaka from behind.
As Yasaka and Higokaru left the building, from the third floor window Hisuke leapt out and disappeared into the shadows of the alley near the base.

Thirty minutes later, Yasaka and Higokaru were sitting outside Rufus's room, having already checked every of his people's room.
Finn only suffered slight bruises and a concussion on his head. It looks like Hisuke had mercy on him and saved the poor boy of damaging injuries. He still wasn't awake though. Even though he possessed great strength, his body is fragile.
Rufus was... a unique case. His scars had closed fully, sure, but the doctors thought that infected germs may have made their way inside his body, so they decided to cut open the scar to purge the presumed virus. Thankfully, Rufus was unconscious throughout the operation. Now he's just resting.
Shun, on the other hand, was fine physically, with only a few light scratches and some bruising from dropping into the ground. His main problem was his depleted energy. It would take him weeks to replenish his energy. The boy practically only had enough energy left for his heart to beat, and even then it's weak.
