MIRABELLAS POV

So today is our first home game and somehow i was convinced into going . Candy insists that we spend quality time as best friends.

A football game ? Why? I don't know I rather be shopping or at the movies with Candy. Don't get me wrong I like sports it's just like why do we have to go to a sporting event that he is going to be participating in.

" Bella , girl what's on your mind?",
Candy asked snapping me out of my overthinking .

Nathan to be honest ", I breathed out feeling relived.

She's the first person I've told about our relationship and it feels so good to not keep all of it to myself .

" what about him?", she said furrowing her eyebrows.

"Well I've been wanting to tell you but like he doesn't want anyone to know ...... But basically I've been with him for the past 11 months ", I confessed.

" What? That's why you all shaky on going to the game. Mhm. ", she gasped giving me a side eye.

" Does Val know ? I don't like this already like you to cute to be a side chick ", she commented.

" I know I'll have to tell you about it later , it's been so crazy. And hell no she doesn't know . Don't tell anyone",I explained .

" okay I won't you I got you ", she gave me a side hug and we finished getting ready.

" I can't believe this.......like I find out everything . So you really surprised me with this one ", she laughed still in shock.

I was so relieved that she was taking this so well. I don't like arguing with my best friend.

" Do you wanna go to the after party ?", Candy asked.

You mean the party that Nathan didn't invite me to ?

" Sure we're already going to be out ", I said trying to hide my extreme anxiety about this whole situation.

I finished getting ready I decided to wear my school spirit tee with ripped high waisted shorts and high top converse.
Candy and I were matching only she had jeans on And I had shorts.

Even though Candy was coming with me , I still was nervous about tonight. Lots of things can go wrong and I don't think I'm ready for it to all blow up in my face.

" Let's go i wanna see them run in ", Candy said grabbing me pulling out the house.

The whole car ride there all I could think of is Nathan.

I really need to stop always trying to be considerate when it comes to his feelings because he doesn't give a damn about mines.

Hell if he did... we wouldn't have sneak around or deny us even knowing eachother.

" Bella?" , Candy called out snapping me out of my thoughts.

" Huh", I responded looking up .

" Come one we here . You' didn't notice us pull up?" She chuckled lightly looking at me.

I just shook my head and grinned.

" Please stop looking like that you killing my vibe ", Candy complained as we walking to the ticket booth.

" Leave me alone I'm just thinking about a lot of deep shit at the moment ", I stated.

" Well can you pause on the deep shit tonight ? And pick that shit back you later ?" She joked playfully .

" okay I gotcha ", I playfully winked.

" Ew what was that ", she laughed

" My wink , I've been practicing ", I joked
" Mines is better ", she said while winking.

" Whateva ", I playfully rolled  my eyes.

After buying our tickets we entered the stadium.
It was so many people, but this was a big game. I've always been into sports but I'm not into sporting events.

I think it's the people and my anxiety fucks me up every time.

" I'm so ready for this after play , it's going to be a movie ", she beamed while we skimmed the student section for a seat.

" Yeah I guess but I'm still kind of on edge ", I stated with an emotionless face.

After seating down for a few minutes , the football players run out their tunnel. I quickly notice Nathan and than unfortunately see Valerie bouncing and yelling out Nathan's number.
She looked so pretty, I bet he invited her to the party.

The inner me spoke silently as I zoned out , my mind going on and on about Nathan. Meanwhile everyone around me is having fun . That's me for you , always putting myself last.

" Girl I can't believe we actually winning by like 3 Touchdowns ", Candy exclaimed .

" I'm glad it's hard to post game party , when you lose the game ", I laughed.

She nodded flashing me a smile.

"  did you notice Caleb and Eric over there ", she discreetly pointed to the bottom row of the student section.

" Now I do , I didn't remember him being that cute ", I commented looking a Caleb.

" Which one ? " Candy asked

" Damn, both of them of cute but I was talking about Caleb " I smirked.

" Girl say, I figured you was talking about Caleb , he's your type ", laughed

Yeah, I gotta thing for tall boys with dimples .

" True but I'm trying to get out of my box , it's senior year", I agreed .

I mean like Nathan can have all this freedom and I want some to. I don't even know what we are anymore.... lol like I ever knew what we were.

" You need to girl like you bad as hell , you need to take advantage ", she flipped my hair .

For the remainder of the game we just talked and watched the game.

" Lets start walking now so we don't get caught up in all the traffic ", Candy suggested at the end of 4th quarter , we were wining by 4 touchdowns so I knew the other team couldn't come back.

" Yess, cause I don't want nobody shoving me ", I agreed and we began walking out the stadium.

" I'm ready to party ",Candy smiled wiggling her hips on our way to the car .

" I bet ", I smirked .

" You should be too , you need to find you someone that's not Nathan", she gave a skank face.
" I know but .... " I struggled to find the right words to reflect my feelings .

But I couldn't . It was just complicated ....

" Nvm.. I don't wanna talk about I just wanna have fun tonight", I forced a smile .

" Good cause it's going to be so many fine boys there", she commented while pulling out of the parking lot.

15 minutes later.

Pulling up to the party it was already so many people there. Immediately I spotted Nathan's car. ....
