Ice princess, cold hearted and insensitive – most of those I heard not only from my classmates but also from other sections.
Why and how I got that?
Maybe because a certain famous person confessed to me I don’t even remember his face or his section but I certainly sure that he confessed.
I vaguely remember that time: “I really like you, gusto kitang maging girlfriend” he said. I didn’t answer ‘no’ immediately but I asked “what is love?” he was shocked and stammering as he answered my question “love is blind?” yes, with a question which is I find it really stupid.
He’s asking me to be his girlfriend yet his definition of his love is BLIND? YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!
I thought and I gave an answer which leads to what made me famous: “niloloko mo ba ako? Ako? Sayo? Maging girlfriend mo, joke ata ang pag ibig sa iyo eh, love IS blind? YUCK! Ang luma ng definition mo ha. Palitan mo baka umubra na sa iba. Wag ako ang gawin mong girlfriend dahil wala akong oras at panahon para maging BULAG sa iyo.”
With a calm face I walked proudly away to a flustered, humiliated boy.
THAT’S HOW I BECAME FAMOUS.
But I was ashamed with what I did at that time. I remembered looking back and I saw him crying.
I just shrugged and continued by daily life – no friends, no close classmates, always alone.
Luckily no one dared to bully me.
