"LANDON!" Camilla cheerfully shouting. She pushed me out of the way as she rushed into Landon's arms. "Uh, hey Camilla I wasn't expecting you today."Are you off today from work?" Landon question while brushing his hand threw his hair. "No, I'm on a break right now, so I came to see you of course!" "I just wished you worked in a better environment, and not with... Her." She tried whispering. "You know I heard that right?" She ignored me of course. "Well, I've got to go back to work, I'll call you afterwards to see if we can hangout, okay?" He said before giving her a kiss on the cheek. "No problem, love you babe." She walked off glaring at me. I moved around the corner to grab some eye catching items to put in the window for view. Since the antique store was down the street from a high school, we try to put out stuff that would attract the Teen's attention. "Since we close up at 5 today, do you want to go to Rolando's pizzeria for dinner?" Landon questioned. In my head, I was screaming yes, but sadly I already had plans tonight. "Um, I would if I could, a family friend that I used to hang out with during the summer has moved down here." "The rent over in New York went threw the roof, so his family decided to move back to their hometown." Just as I went to go back behind the register, someone came threw the door. "Welcome to Treasured Collectables, where you can fi-." Landon closed his mouth as he saw me race across the room into a strangers arms. "Ryan!" I squealed as we fell to the ground. "Haha, Lyra, how many times do I have to tell you, give me a warning before your trample me." Landon came rushing over to see what's going on. "Uh, so I'm assuming your the family friend?" Landon asked as he helped him up. "Bullseye, I'm Ryan, what's your name." Ryan asked with a smile as he set out an arm for a handshake. Landon ignored him as he went over to pick me up. "I'm fine Landon, go on and introduce yourself." I semi ordered him to do. "I'm Landon, I've know Lyra since middle school" he said aggressively. "Ha, well I've know Lyra since we were in diapers, I bet you didn't know Lyra has a birthmark on he-". "Woah, woah okay, its not a competition, and plus aren't we a little bit off topic?" I gave Ryan a reserved look. "Hey, what does he know that I don't!" Ian raised his voice. "What are you her boyfriend?" Ryan smirked. "Well, uh no, but that doe-." "Well if you aren't a package, then you you don't need to know everything thats under the candy wrapper now do ya" Ryan interjected. "Can we stop this nonsense, you guys are getting out of hand." I pleaded. "Only for you angel." Ryan started to walk towards the door. "Oh its already five, Landon can you close up, I have to go back to my house and get cleaned ready. "No problem, just be careful, call me if you need anything." "Thats why I'm here lover boy." Ryan smirked as he left the store. "Sorry about him, he has always been that way." I apologized as I grabbed my bag from the storage room. Before I could walk out, Landon grabbed me by the arm. "Please don't be reckless, especially with that guy." Landon gave me a worried look. "I'll be fine, he's just a friend, go have fun with Camilla." Just saying that to him made my stomach do somersaults. "Okay, well then, have a good night Lyra". I then waved off as I went threw the door.
