A sixteen-year-old girl who is driving home from school while her father is still at work he doesn't get off until 5:00 PM. She hops out of her and head to the door with her keys to unlock the door, and got in the house by herself. She put her backpack on the sofa and sat on the sofa to lay there until her father gets back. April 11, 2000.

Melissa Monett is a sixteen-year-old French girl who loves doves when she young, she went about to take a nap for about 4 minutes, she plays a song from Prince's song "When Doves Cry" on her pink iPod nano listening to with headphones on, she laid back and took a nap.

It is 4:55 PM until 5:00, her dad James comes home. He got inside the door, he went into the living room to ask his daughter a question.

"Melissa, Melissa? Are you in here? There you are."

"Dad? Oh, hey!" Melissa wakes up from her nap, and remove the headphones.

"Tu vas bien, il semble que quelqu'un vienne dans."

"Non le père, personne n'est ici." Melissa speak in French.

"Je suis content que tu ailles bien."

"Je suis trop."

They are done translate in the French language back to English. They hug.

"So, how are you doing in school?"

"It's pretty good, not that bad."

"I see, have you thinking about the doves today."

"No, I still got my mind on the doves because I want to make sure they're okay, and focus on school."

"I see darling, but I know how much you love the doves," James said. "When I was a young boy, I used to have doves from a very long time, so that's why I felt sad being one when I got to it, I remember listening to Prince as a young boy, teenager as I got older I still like Prince."

"You were listening to Prince when you were a teenager?"

"Yes I did, I grew up with this man, I love Prince, I like some of his songs," he said. "They are very popular, synth and awesome. The first song I liked back in the 80s is "When Doves Cry."

"When Doves Cry, that's what I'm listening to on my iPod."

"Well, that's nice, well.."

"I was just taking my nap before you came in the house. Did you see mom?"

"I haven't seen her, but it's been a while since we got separated."

"It has?"

"I miss my mom."

"I miss my wife."

"I do too.

"I wonder where is she? When she coming to visit in Paris.

"It's because you two have been separated apart."

"Oui. Melissa, we have been separated and divorced when you were growing up." James tells his daughter. "Don't you remember?"

"Oui. I was 14 years old papa" Melissa said. "I know you have been apart, I just wanted you to be with mama, that's all."

"I wish I could too you know, we had to work something out."

"I think we can do it, I want you and her to get back together," Melissa said. "As parents. Maybe my brother will be living with me."

"Surely."

"Hope to know."

"I want my beautiful doves to stay where it can be where it all can be."

-Meanwhile, in the city of Minnesota, her mom and her brother Josh went shopping for some clothes but then, by the way, they went out to eat.-

"Um. Josh."

"Yes."

"I can't believe that I am going shopping with you!" she said, smiling at him. "Josh, look at you, you're growing up, your almost 18!"
