Kazuki's P.O.V.
Damn you Aiko. Making me feel bad about what I did. Life is hard for me too you know. Not just physically, but mentally too.
As soon as I walked inside the classroom, I sensed a presence behind me filled with bloodlust. I swung around and kicked from the back but they dodged. I was pinned to the floor in one of the scariest positions I've ever been in in my life. Whoever this was just did a flying leg scissor into a heel hook. Excruciating pain. I was dying mentally. My body barely felt in tact physically. "NO, STOP!!" I heard someone yell who I think was Tomoe. My consciousness was fading quickly. It didn't feel like I was breathing. Is this it for me already? I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye yet...
Tomoe's P.O.V.
"Aiko...what have you done? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!!" I screamed as I sobbed uncontrollably. I fell to my knees and cried. I heard Shizuko sobbing. She had taken out an M-16 rifle and Yamato had taken out a Howa Type 89 rifle. Despite the magic barrier around her..., they still kept shooting. Aiko stared at them in awe, thinking that we would take this as a small plot of revenge. She doesn't know a damn thing about Kazuki. He makes careless mistakes. And of course, he didn't know about Chibaru's heart condition. But she made the same careless mistake. Except she was aware that she was making the same wrong move. You screwed it up big time. You mess with him, you've already written your death wish.
-Time Skip-
Due to Kazuki being unconscious, he was taken to the school hospital and has been under urgent care for a few hours. Outside waiting patiently and hopefully are his three best friends accompanied by a certain someone...
(Read the next part dramatically)
I can't stand this much longer. I bit my nails nervously as I paced back and forth. Shizuko was sitting down. Praying. Yamato was standing up against a wall with his glasses raised and his eyes covered by one of his hands. Aiko, who we all wanted to murder was standing no where near us. She was at the very end of the hall. Expressionless.
About five years ago, Kazuki was an advanced martial artist just like I am now. His parents didn't like him being in sports, so he trained at our family's dojo. One day, we were accepted in an advanced tournament for Muay Thai. We both decided to compete and bring back our only Thai title for the Izumi dojo. Of course, we won most of our matches. But when it was around the semifinals, things got brutal. Kazuki was put up against one of the former champions of this tournament. And it didn't look like he was going to let Kazuki off so easily. It was a mixed martial arts round. He did the exact same move that Aiko did on Kazuki. Even when the match was said to be over, he was kept in the heel hook. It caused several nerves in his body to bleed internally. I could only imagine how he felt. Because I was fortunate enough not to know. To think...that someone would do that...to a nine-year-old. It's cruel. Sick. Absolutely unforgivable....
He was taken to the hospital as soon as they managed to get the guy off of him. The doctors said that he would make it...but if it were to happen a second time they wouldn't know the exact results...
A while later, a nurse came out and signaled for us to come in. He was okay. Aiko didn't enter the room yet. He looked at us expressionless. We looked at him expressionless. And then...
We all just smiled...Like the idiotic
group of friends we are..We wiped away our tears and sat and talked with him for about an hour. The doctors said we could have as much time as we new yes with him. So of course we stayed longer.
After a while, Aiko entered the room. We all stared at her. She looked at all of us. She dropped to her knees and lowered her head all the way to the ground. "I-I'm so s-s-sorry...I wasn't a-aware of y-your si-situation," she said through tears. It was silent for a while.
"Baka."
She looked up at Kazuki in awe. "W-What?!" she said. "There's no need for an apology," he said. "In fact, I'm the one who should be apologizing to you and Chibaru-kun," he said smiling. "I forgive you of course, I just don't know how it's gonna go with them." She looked up at us. We surrounded Kazuki with a hug while death glaring Aiko. "Yeah that's cool," she said. "I definitely deserve that." She walked out the door smiling. She looked back at us and mouthed a "thank you." That's almost the nicest I've ever seen her.
But of course I banned her from the dojo for two months.
