Chapter 7

Saidans pov
"He's here"

As Gandalf said that all the dwarves even Bilbo got up and walked to the door so I followed them. As I followed them I saw that one of them opened the door and I saw thorin standing there so I stood up straighter to see him walk in. As he walked in I heard him say

"Gandalf. I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way, twice. I wouldn't have found it at all had it not been for that mark on the door"

As he said that Bilbo looked at the door so I watched as he did to only hear him say

"Mark? There is no mark on that door. It was painted a week ago"

With that I saw Gandalf close the door and I heard him say

"There is a mark; I put it there myself. Bilbo Baggins, allow me to introduce the leader of out company, thorin oakensheild"

As he said that I saw thorin look at Bilbo and I saw that he was looking him up and down so I leaned on the door frame to only hear thorin say

"So, this is the hobbit. Tell me, mr Baggins, have you done much fighting?"

"Pardon me?"

"Axe or sword? What's your weapon of choice?"

"Well, I have some skill at conkers, if you must know, but I fail to see why that's relevant"

As he said that I saw him puff out his chest to look tough and I saw thorin laugh and turn around. As he turned around he handed his jacket to kili and said

"Thought as much. He looks more like a grocer then burglar"

With that they all laughed so i laughed a small laugh with them. When I laughed I saw thorin look at me so I looked at him to only hear him say

"What is she doing here?"

With that I opened my mouth to say something instead I was interrupted by Gandalf saying

"She is here to help"

"I will not have it. No woman is allowed to join us"

"She is more skilled then anyone here. She knows the mountains more then you know your own kin, she can help you thorin"

As Gandalf said that I looked thorin in the eyes to only hear myself say

"My King I will lay my life for not just you but for the whole company if you allow me to join"

With that I looked at kili then back to thorin to only hear him say

"I can't promise your safety nor can I promise your return"

"I know"

"Then yes you can join"

With that he walked off and walked to the dining room so I looked at kili to see him smiling so I smiled and walked to the dining room.

A few hours later
"What news from meeting at ered luin? Did they all come?"

As balin said that I looked at around me to only hear thorin say

"Aye. Envoys of all seven kingdom"

With that he took another bite of his meal and all the dwarves murmur their joy so I smiled to only hear uncle dwalin say

"What do the dwarves of the iron hill say? Is dain with us?"

With that I thorin lowered his head so I watched as he did to only hear him say
