Ever wondered what would have happened if you had different parents? If you were born with wealthy parents who gave you everything, all the toys you ever dreamed of. All the birthday presents you wish for? Maybe you wondered what it would be like if your parents owned a car or even a nicer car. If only they went to college and had nice jobs. It would be so much easier if you had a maid to make your bed and cook your food? Everything would have been perfect. You would be the most popular child in school, and even if you weren't, at least you were able to make it to school everyday. At least you would have someone would help you with your home work or even pay for you to get help. Well, that is hardly the average person's reality! In the real world parents do their best to make ends meet. They work two, three or even four jobs to ensure that you go to school. That means you may not get as many hugs are some of your friends. They may not have time to tell you "I love you" everyday. Chances are they leave for work before you wake up and come in after you are asleep.

While you may not have all the may not have the perfect set up- a mom and a dad, a fancy house and white picket fences, YOUR DREAMS ARE RELEVANT! While you may not have a college fund set up for you, because your parent (s) are busy making sure you can have a hot meal before school, actually make it to school and actually have food when you get home, you can still dream big! Your mom or dad may not have a college education, but if you dream it you can achieve it! You may not be the child who hosts the nicest parties because your house doesn't allow of, as your parents don't have it, but you can still go the distance and ensure that your children can enjoy comfort.

You may have parents who are supposed to love you unconditionally, but instead resent you, abuse you both physically and emotionally, remember always, your today doesn't have to be your tomorrow, dream big, work hard even though you may be told you are useless, good for nothing, your desire to become someone who you can look in the mirror and love is enough to start the journey of a thousand miles at the end of which lies your dream! It is not as easy as the child with loving parents, but it is up to you to turn your pain and agony into gains. Rise from the abuse and the discouragement and build a stronger you, a more successful you. Encourage yourself, because the most relevant things in your life are your dreams!

You maybe adopted, parents maybe dead, you are struggling to find your identity. Who you are, where you came from? Why can you just have real parents, the one who share you blood? These questions are in your head. Your foster parents are trying, they love you as their own, but you cannot help but wonder. You may wonder who you are meant to be if you do not know where your ancestry? Does it even make sense to try to define yourself when you have no lineage? Yes! It makes sense, who you dream of becoming and who you become, is not dependent on the past that you cannot change. It is dependent on the now. You have loving foster parents, decide to love and accept them now! Decide to build your dreams in this loving space. Decide that only thing that is relevant from now on are the dreams you dream and the work you decide to put into them! The journey may not have started smoothly, the dream may have started out a nightmare, but they are still relevant if you make the decision to page by page rewrite the story of your life.
