There was something about this dude standing across from that had me feeling..... I don't know, maybe it was the confidence in which he walked up, or maybe it was his dark chocolate skin, or how the lights shone off his pearly white teeth but whatever it was it had me feeling something. I had heard about Lafayette Thoreaux from Zyshaun and I had seen pictures of him but seeing him in person was a whole different experience it was like some unknown force was pulling my souls towards his, I wonder if he felt it too? I looked into his deep brown eyes and noticed he was looking at how close me and Kaylis were sitting, he shifted his gaze from me then looked at Seven who was in his ready to attack position, then to De'Cari who was the same way both of them ready to fight at the drop of a hat. Lafayette then looked back at me and Kaylis and smirked a little and pointed at me.

"So this you now Kay?" He asked looking at Kaylis amused. Kaylis grabbed my hand and started smiling. "You know if Zyshaun really wants me on his label, then he should probably stop dangling you and your new boyfriend's relationship in front of me. Besides we both know it's just an act." He said smiling okay so maybe what I was feeling was that I may have to whoop this dudes ass.

"Lafayette I case you didn't get the message when I broke that plate over your head for cheating on me several times.... it's over I moved on. Now I can't speak for Zyshaun but you and I know that you moving to his label would be the best move for you career, it has absolutely nothing to do with me." Kaylis said running her finger down my chest.

"Kay come outside I wanna talk to you real quick." Lafayette said his jaw tightening, for a split second our eyes met and I felt that spark again but as quickly as it came it went and he looked back at Kaylis.

"I'm not going anywhere with you La' can't you see I'm with my dude." Kaylis said smiling at him.

"KAYLIS I'M NOT PLAYING WITH YOU!" Lafayette yelled glaring at her, that's when I knew I had to speak up.

"Let me kick it to you like this real quick La'...... obviously she doesn't want to go with you and I think it's real disrespectful for you to come over to my table making demands and shyt, but look I'm in a generous mood tonight so this is what I'll do for you..." I grabbed a pen a napkin off the table and wrote my number down. "Here's my number because from now on whenever you're sitting at home writing them sad ass songs you be singing about and you're wondering where she's at and missing her just know she's probably with me and whenever you get out your feelings and want to talk to her like a man, just give me a call I'll let you talk to her for a few minutes." I said smiling at him.

"MAN FUCK YOU!!!" Lafayette said walking away pissed.

"And they say light skinned dudes are emotional." I said laughing and turning my attention back to my group. "So what were we talking about before that corny ass dude came over here?" I said, but something drew my attention somewhere else I looked across the club and Lafayette was staring at me but it wasn't anger it was...... nah I must've imagined it.

We partied the rest of the night and when we got back to the house Seven and De'Cari's drunk asses went to sleep leaving me up with Tyson, me and Tyson had a long complicated history but I'm glad him and Seven ended up together in my opinion they made each other better, which is all I wanted for Seven.

"So what was that about?" Tyson asked looking at me with a smirk.

"What are you talking about Ty?" I asked knowing exactly what he meant, he didn't miss a thing.

"I'm talking about that energy exchange between you and Lafayette it seemed like y'all to were doing this weird flirting thing without even knowing it. You may not have noticed it but whenever he looked at you there was something in his eyes.... like a glimmer of love or something, and I'm sure I seen it in your eyes as well." Tyson said.
