Waking before Mia, I get up to answer a call of nature then brush my teeth before returning to the bed, resting on an elbow to look at her. She's lying on her stomach, face turned toward me with her chocolate-coloured hair splayed out over the pillow. My glance falls on a silky cheek flushed with sleep and dotted with an occasional freckle left over from the warmth of summer, down to full, pink lips I know are soft and sweet and just made for kissing. The urge to touch my mouth to hers right now is overwhelming and I lean over, brushing it lightly and resisting with difficulty the impulse to carry on and kiss her all over.
"Not fair," she mumbles sleepily, stirring a little. "You've brushed your teeth."
I chuckle softly, smiling at her even though she hasn't yet opened her eyes. "Good morning to you too, beautiful." Kissing her bare shoulder, a frisson of desire moves through me when she gives a low hum in response.
Lids pry open and warm grey eyes blink at me for a moment. "Don't go away," she says, then rolls over and gets out of bed, heading for the bathroom, giving me the chance to admire the curve of her back, shapely bottom and long supple legs before she disappears behind the door. When she returns I'm left breathless again looking at her; she's confident and comfortable in her own skin, no false modesty or trying to hide from my appreciative gaze.
"Eyes up here, mister," she teases and I look at her face to find a wide grin twinkling at me.
"Just admiring the scenery," I grin in return, pulling back the blankets and patting the bed in invitation; she laughs and climbs in and I lean over to kiss her more thoroughly, tasting the mint on her teeth and tongue when she opens her lips to me.
"Mmm, good morning," she whispers, then pulls me back for another kiss, her hands running over my shoulders to tangle in the hair at the nape of my neck. Her touch ignites sparks throughout my body and the kiss deepens as I gently push her down against the pillows; when she moans into my mouth I feel myself harden and twitch against her thigh. I kiss her jaw, her throat, her collarbone and between her breasts - the tips already firm - then back to the mouth I can't get enough of. "I hope you brought more than one condom," she murmurs huskily, both of us panting when we come up for air.
It takes a moment for my brain to clear and her words to sink in. "Fuck!" I growl.
"Jake?"
"I didn't want to seem over-confident," I admit bashfully.
"Oh hell," she laughs, "in that case, how would it look if I said I had a whole box of them in my bag?"
"Do you?"
"If I admit to that does it seem like I only came here this weekend to have my wicked way with you?"
"No, but if that was your intention I'm okay with that."
She giggles, eyes sparkling, and I feel a familiar pang in my chest. "So it's all right for me to be a sex-starved perv, but not you?"
"Exactly," I smile.
Mia shakes her head, grinning. "You're crazy."
"Crazy about you," I tell her, and kiss her grin away.
It turns out we need two more condoms and only just have enough time to shower and dress before she has to check out of the hotel.

"Team Ironman."
"You're kidding."
Her eyes widen. "Robert Downey Jnr is hot; I'm not picking Chris Evans over him any day."
"He's almost twice your age!" I splutter.
"Age is no barrier to sexiness," she points out. "He has beautiful eyes and a nice butt; he's cheeky and sweet and he makes me laugh." She shrugs. "Irresistible."
