It's been a whole year since I seen that man and I learned things. The light I see is nen. I'm 14 now and my hair is longer. I am walking through town looking at stuff. I see this necklace and walked up to it. I opened it to see a picture of my mom and dad. I looked at the person selling it. It was a man. " That's 25,000 yen " said the man. I looked at him crying." How did you get this? This isn't yours. It's my mom's! You stole it?!! If my parents were still.... alive I would have had this already. It's a family heirloom ! And you..... you t-took it? " I cried holding the necklace. He was shocked.
When I calmed down I looked at locket. " I have no money so I'll just go- "" I'll pay for it." I hear a familiar voice. I turned to see the Blondie. He payed for the locket. Why? He had it in his hand. He smiled and gave it to me. I put it around my neck. " Thanks" i said quietly. " I'm Shalnark " he said while grabbing my hand. " They call me heartless Ruby " I say looking at our hands.
He's watching me. " What happened to your parents? " Shalnark says as if he didn't know. " My mom was in this clan and they got killed last year and my dad? Well I don't know but he got killed I just don't know by who? " I said holding the locket tightly. Shalnark frowned at this.
"Well you can join the troupe I'm in and find the killer?" He said and I nodded. He put me on his back and ran. I soon fell asleep.
Time skip
When I woke up I'm surrounded by people. I sat up and looked at them. I ran to Shalnark and hugged his waist. He froze up. I pulled him to the ground. " Who are these people? " I asked showing no emotion what so ever. " This is the troupe" he said sitting up. " This is supposed to be a troupe? Are you kidding me?" I asked and this buff dude picks me up by my chin. I get angry. My eye turns red. I snapped his wrist and broke his nose. I threw him to the ground and grabbed him by the chin. " Don't do that ever again....... got that?" I said then let go of him.
I went back to Shalnark and he walked over to the window. I of course joined the troupe and got a false tattoo. I don't trust them. But to get revenge I have to.
