-Due to some medical issues in some members the council has been held today, instead of the other day.
Elrond explained. He glanced at Laerorn.
-Excuse me, Mellonin.
-Yes Gandalf?
Elrond turned his head towards Gandalf.
-I think Laerorn should explain why she is here.
He said. Laerorn sighed.
-Well, a Magus is sent as a guardian for a person of royal blood. They act as their bodyguard and do whatever they say. When someone dies, if they had a magus, the magus will be passed on to either their child or the person their master says they should serve.
Most Maguses are from Lothlorian. Some Maguses have different powers. I am gifted with foresight, strength, healing and shielding.
Gimli, who was seated across from Legolas, whispered something to his dwarven companions and pointed at Legolas. They both snickered a bit. Gimli put his fingers towards his ears and pointed them backwards, no kind the shape of the elven ears.
Laerorn stood up, drew her sword and pointed it towards him.
-Watch your tongue, snake
She said angrily.
-Laerorn!
Legolas snapped. Laerorn sat down again, but through the whole meeting she glared at Gimli.
