*i kinda jumped to when they were in the pass of carahdas kuz I don't have the time to write that much.*
Laerorn walked along the snow, her feet barely sinking in the snow. A blizzard had blown down through the mountain range. A pile of snow crashed down on them.
-LOOK OUT!
Somebody yelled. Legolas pushed himself against the mountain. A huge ball of snow brushed his nose and crashed into a pile of snow in front of him.
-Laerorn!!
He called. No answer. Legolas started to dig in the snow in front of him. He lifted handful after handful of snow. His fingers burned from the cold. But he didn't care, she had to be ok.
A cold hand grabbed his wrist. It was an Orc. He kicked it in the stomach. It skidded away but got up on its feet. Legolas looked around him for a weapon, anything he could hurt the monster with. Nothing. The Orc on the other hand had pulled a bow and an arrow from his back. The arrow head was pointed right at his head.
Everything was still. Legolas was scared. He breathed.
Out of the pile of snow rose a figure. It was Laerorn. Fully clad in armor.
-Leave him alone!
She screamed. The Orc ignored her. Legolas notices some black liquid dripping on the tip of the orcs arrow. Poison.
-Laerorn! Go, save the others!
Legolas pleaded.
-No! I can't...
Before she could finish, Boromir jumped from beside the Orc and grabbed his bow. The Orc released the string. The arrow twirled through the air. But it didn't hit Legolas.
It hit Laerorn.
