3.8: Fantaken

You're about to leave the restaurant when Jun called Seungcheol.

"Annyeong...what?" He said looking at you before looking around. "Ne. We'll wait in the parking lot." He held your hand and led you away from the place quickly.
"Why? Where are we going? What happened?" You asked him as his walk became faster.
"Nothing. The boys just want to see you." He told you with a smile.

You've seen him smile countless times and you know when he's faking it. You want to ask him again but he looks like this is an emergency so you just followed him to the parking lot. A company car is already waiting there. You rode in silence. Seungcheol is holding your hands tightly as if he'll might lose grip of it anytime.

"Stay in the practice room while I'm away. I just have a meeting. I'll fetch you there. I'm sure Hoshi's practicing now there." He told you when you reached the company building.
"Ok."
"I love you, Y/N." He said squeezing your hands tightly before letting it go and walking away.

Minghao saw you as he entered the building and immediately ran to you.

"Y/N-ah, come with me! I'll show you our new dance routine!" He told you

He led you to the practice room where Hoshi is dancing. Dokyeom and Seungkwan are also there watching him. They asked you to sit with them while Hoshi teach The8 the new steps he made for the dance.

"Oppa," You called DK but both Dk and Seungkwan looked at you. "Where is Jun oppa?"
"I think he's with the president." Seungkwan answered smiling.
"Wae?" DK asked you.
"I need to ask him what he talked about with Seungcheol." You told them.

Seungkwan's smile faded and he helplessly looked at Dokyeom. The8 and Hoshi also stopped dancing. Dokyeom adjusted on his seat uncomfortably.

"Ah! Y/N-ah, may I have this dance?" Soonyoung offered you a hand.
"Why?" You asked him. Why is he asking for a dance suddenly?
"Aish! It's just a dance, Y/N-ah! Come on! We want to see you dance too!" Seungkwan pushed you towards Hoshi.

You almost lost your balance so you held Hoshi's hand. He helped you stand up. He pulled you close to him and start swaying to Say Yes instrumental which Minghao just played on the music player. DK and Seungkwan started singing to it.

"Why ask for a dance all of a sudden, oppa?" You asked Hoshi.
"Nothing. I just want to dance with you. Do I need a reason to dance with you?" He said smiling. The same 10:10 after those years.

I smiled back and rested your head on his shoulder. He's still holding your hand while his other hand is on the small of your back. The boys are still singing along the music.

"I want a girl like you, Y/N-ah." He suddenly said.
"Why?" You asked.
"You smell so good. It's addicting. I want to wake up to your scent everyday."  He told you.

The door suddenly opened interrupting your peaceful dance with him. The boys also stopped singing. It's Vernon.

"Hosh, meeting room!" He shouted not knowing you're there too.
"Coming!" Hoshi told him before looking at you. "I hate to say this but I need to go baby Y/N-ah. I'll be back as soon as possible!" He kissed your forehead before going with Hansol.
"Great! It's my turn!" Minghao stood up and took Hoshi's position.

He danced with you while the two sang Monodrama. Though Minghao is smiling at you, you felt sad. Maybe it's just the song. You thought you can get through it but you felt your tears are about to fall so you excused yourself.

"I'll just go to the washroom. I think my bladder is going to explode. I'll be back!" You said as you headed to the door.
"I'll come with you! You might get lost!" DK immediately followed you and grabbed your wrist.
"No. I know where it is. And also, you can't come with me in the washroom!" You told him with a smile to convince him you're fine.

You felt your tears drop so you quickly ran away from the room. You ran without any place in mind to go to. You don't even know why you're crying. This isn't the first time you cried without a reason. Maybe you're just really crazy.

You took a deep breath and sighed. You wiped your tears away and looked around. You ended up in an unfamiliar hallway. You saw two doors, one with "회위실" (hoeuisil) written on it and another with nothing but black paint. A shout came from inside the room labelled hoeuisil. I became curious so you touched your ear to the door tryinh to eavesdrop. You can hear voices inside clearly but you can't just understand them.

"Well, that's a difficult decision to make." You suddenly heard someone say from behind you. You quickly turned to see who it is.
"Max..."
"Come with me, noona. It'll be awful if someone sees us here especially now. Don't worry. I won't steal kisses from you." With a weak smile, he offered you a hand.

You hesitated for a moment but as you look at him, you remember how kind he is to let you stay in his house without asking for anything in return. You remembered that nice boy who always called you noona in the sweetest way he could everytime he gets home, that hardworking trainee who already debuted now, that kid you miss right now.

You took his hand and he led you to an unoccupied room. You felt safe because of his presence. You just want to hug him tightly and thank him because he's basically the reason why you met S.coups. Without him, you couldn't have met Joshua who told Seungcheol about you.

"We can talk here but lower your voice. Just in case someone suddenly enters." He said as he sat down on the floor.
"Thanks." You told him as you said opposite him.
"Why are you running around crying? And you know eavesdropping is a crime, noona. You shouldn't do that!" He told you as he reached out for a snack on the table near him.
You laughed thinking why this boy younger than you is now nagging. "I'm just curious. Hey! You said something earlier. I know you understand Korean. What did they say? What are they talking about?" You asked him.
"Haven't you checked any social media site? It's everywhere, noona!" He asked you like you're supposed to know. You suddenly realized you left your phone in the practice room.
"Uhhh. No. What is everywhere? What are you talking about?"

He stared at you for a few seconds. He smirked and started eating the snack.

"YAH! TELL ME ALREADY!!!" You shouted at him and punched his shoulder softly.
He laughed at you before saying "Ok! Ok! Fine. I think S.coups hyung doesn't want you to know but do you? If you do, then I'll tell you. Are you ready for this?" He asked you. You don't know what the hell he's talking about and you just want to know RIGHT NOW!
"JUST SAY IT, MAX!"

He took out his phone. You waited for his response as he scrolled on his phone until finally stopping to show you something.

"This is everywhere. And there's more." He showed you a blurry photo.
"Uhhh. Can you just tell me what it is instead of showing me that?"
"Ugh! Noona, this is a fantaken photo of you and S.coups hyung kissing!!!"

You froze on spot. You were too careless! Max continued talking as he searched for something. All you can think of is Seungcheol and the fans.

"Ah! Found it! This is another pic posted by another fan proving it's really S.coups hyung." He said

He showed you a picture of Seungcheol wiping the sauce off your lips after you ate. There are more photos. His cap is the reason why your face can't be seen clearly.

"What did the other fans say?" You asked him as you stared at the pics. How could you be so careless?
"Ahhh...that..."
