Raised in Alkenstar City, the capital of thatnarrow strip of land known to the world as the Mana Wastes, I have seen thepartition between the rich and the poor, the humans and those affected by asickness called "Mana Fever" where those who are affected become what people call"mutants." Prejudice existed among most of the citizens in this magic-deadarea, but our society is highly modernized. Have you ever saw a suspendedtrain? They have that in Alkenstar, called the "Bridge of the Gods," connectingthe Clockwork Metropolis to the city of Martel. Have you ever saw a humongouscannon? They have that in Alkenstar known as the "Great Maw of Rovagug," saidthat it was fired once. Have you ever seen an airship? They are like balloons,but bigger and can be used as a passenger ship. There is so much to be saidabout my homeland of the Mana Wastes, but I have a story to tell.
