Rhysand woke up in his father's guest rooms. He felt as if he was going to die. He had to look for pewter - the rarest metal in Prythian, also the only metal that could kill an Attor.

Legends stated that attors had been alive for over 1,000 years. They lived in their country Alicantour in houses carved out of human bones. No mortal even thought about crossing the Lys River to go to Alicantour. Anyone who wasn't them that trespassed got killed.

Rhys was getting ready to go out to find pewter when he heard a scream - No multiple screams. Coming from outside of his windows. Rhysand ran to his window and when he looked outside he almost puked. Dozens of civilians were running towards his direction. That wasn't what Rhysand was anxious about. Behind the civilians was a large 10 foot Attor walking slowly after them. It was so slim and violet. The beast had no eyes or ears but a large smile carved with a knife. There was green blood dripping from the scar. It also had two small black eyebrows. They looked like they were torn from an innocent baby's face. The legs and arms were unnaturally long.

Rhys ran straight out of his rooms. He was running so fast that he bumped into his father. "I was just coming to look for you father", Rhys said, breathing really fast, "there is an Attor and"-
"I know, it's chaos outside we can't leave."
"I will go father, it doesn't seem to be in a rush. Maybe it just wants to talk."
"That is ridiculous Rhysand. I will not let you go out to it alone!"
"I'll take a few guards then", Rhys answered.
Rhysand's father looked hesitant but said, "very well, you will take 7 of my best trained guards to escort you to the beast."

Rhysand and his 7 guards walked nervously to the Attor who had stopped at a gate 500 metres from his father's palace. As they walked, Rhysand's anxiousness grew even more. Meanwhile, the Attor was doing nothing but waiting patiently for Rhys to get close.

When Rhysand and his guards made it to the gate they just stopped. The Attor was waiting for Rhys to say something. "So...", Rhysand didn't know what to say. The Attor just stared at him, silent.
"What is it you would like?", Rhys asked, then felt stupid immediately after.
"I want palace, city, country, kingdom", the immortal beast answered. It's voice was so deep, Rhys felt like he was hearing it in his mind.
"Well... Can't we make a deal?", Rhysand asked cautiously.
"No deal, I come here, tell you my brothers going to take over. We kill every man - comes in our way", the Attor announced. Then he said, "go mortal, tell your father about this message"
Rhys ran as fast as he could, his soldiers following.

"Well there's no way we can kill them, we don't have pewter", Rhysand said to his father. His father was silent. They both didn't know what to do. Then Rhysand remembered, "father, you have valanfire in your safe don't you?", Rhys said, hopefully.
"Yes, why?", his father asked though he knew where this was going.
"Maybe we could use it to blow up the beasts"
"Maybe."

Rhysand stormed thorough every level in his father's palace to get to the very bottom. There was a safe down there with velanfire.

Velanfire was a blue gas made up of different chemical elements. It could destroy cities if intended so.

Finally, Rhys reached the safe and unlocked it with the help from his guards. He took out the velanfire which looked very small for what it could do. It's case was made out of steel and it felt really light so he held it in his hands.

As soon as he opened his father's main room he started to hear a variety of noises; screams, metal, and cries. The front door was open and no one was in the room.

Outside was total chaos. Human bodies everywhere, huge violet beasts teared people's heads from their bodies. Rhys was speechless.

He unleashed the velanfire.
