Chapter twelve

Andrew and I went through the rest of high school together. We were a couple. A actual romantic couple.I know so chessy,but we made promises that we both always remembered.I knew that we would would both be going to different colleges but we decided we will make it work.We were going to spend the summer together doing crazy things we used to do. I love being with him. He has kissed me and hugged me many times and every time he did it was like gold. He is really my best friend. Life is finally perfect and I love him.Andrew and I decided to drive down to are park.

"Oh man",I said"what a great day".
"Yeah I know right",said Andrew.
"It's to bad we have to split soon".
"Um what are you talking about"!
"I mean to different colleges not as in were breaking up".I said laughing.
"Oh right I was gonna say um what".
It was night now.The sky was beautiful and the birds were singing and the lightening bugs were out. Perfect it was.

"Look".I said. "Lightening bugs".
"Fascinating".Andrew said sarcastically.
I looked at him funny"I'm gonna go get one".

The lightening bugs were kinda on the road but no one really ever comes up here so I was not worried about it.I was finally in love with my life.I was cupping the lightening bugs and I seen Andrew staring at me from a distance laughing. Everything is so perfect. I just feel s-.... "KATIE LOOK OUT FOR THAT CAR",said Andrew. I turned to look but It was to late. I tried to see clearly but all I seen was a blur and then nothing at all.

I woke up once again in a hospital but this time Andrew,my dad and my mom were in the room with me....crying.I was standing up looking at them and then my body.I knew what was going on. I was dead. The doctors told them the cause and then covered me up. My mom and dad walked out of the room crying because they can't take it but Andrew stayed. "Katie I'm so sorry for this,I wanted you to stay on this world with me.I wanted you to see me fall off the monkey bars and break my arm.I love you and I'll always miss you.
I said it back but he could not hear me. I remembered the day I made the promise of staying on the earth with him forever so then I must do just that.
