One touch away

Chapter thirteen

I was there at my own funeral which I never thought could happen. I felt so bad for people seeing them cry over me.It hurt the most to see Andrew cry because out of every one he was the one always there.He was on his knees at my grave stone,I walked up and put my hand on his shoulder and he looked up. He felt that!I was expecting Andrew to freak out but he actually smiled and I said "I love you Katie".

Once the summer was over Andrew left for college and I followed him.When he was having a bad day I would hug him and did the best I could.One day he even said "Katie I love that your here and that you always make me feel better,love you". I smiled for days after he said that.I will never leave your side.

Months go by and then years.Andrew became a doctor and he is really good at his job. I can never watch when him do surgeries however.He really has saved many lives. Years and years go by and Andrew becomes wrinkly and old and he is now retired,and I stay young because I'm dead so I kinda can't age. One night I was lying by his side in his bed as I always do and then all of a sudden the ambulance comes rushing in the room.They were running up to Andrew pumping on his chest and checking his pulse. They did this for many minutes and then they all looked up at each other and shook there heads. They loaded his now dead body on a carrier and went off. "Katie is that you" said a voice.I turned around and there standing in front of me was young Andrew. "OMG it is you",said Andrew. "Yeah it's me"I said.
"I knew you were always there".
"Yeah" I said as I ran up to him hugging him for the very first time in Years and years. "Look" Andrew said "that must be the light"
"Yeah"I said"it's beautiful". I looked at him and he looked at me "are ya ready to do this".asked Andrew. 
"I have been ready"I said
We both walked into the amazing light holding each other's hands. I will forever be there forever and always. I'll be one touch away.
