A.N so this chapter is gonna follow the plot of the movie but the dialogue won't be the same. (Mostly because I don't remember exactly what they say) so I'm sorry if I mess some things up.

Also I'd like to apologize really quick. I'm actually really embarrassed by this but you know how I've been spelling Grey's name 'Grey'? Yeah well I was looking up the cast the other day and found that his name is actually spelled 'Gray' with an A. So I'm very sorry for that little mistake.

Owen and I were outside his bungalow just enjoying the nice weather when an all too familiar car pulled up. I groaned and Owen looked up to see why I was groaning. Once he saw the car he sighed not wanting to talk to Claire at the moment. He was fixing something on his motorcycle and was much too "busy" to deal with her. Claire walked over in her all white clothes and her silly nude heels. How has that woman not sprained her ankle yet?! "Mr. Grady, Ms. Grant-" Claire was cut off by Owen saying, "Owen." And I chipped in saying, "Emily." Claire rolled her eyes and nodded. "Anyway, Mr. Masrani has requested for the two of you to come inspect the new dinosaur paddock." "Why?" I asked. "To search for vulnerabilities and such." She replied. "You just went and made a new dinosaur?" Owen asked clearly amused. "Yeah it's kind of what we do here." Claire responded obviously getting irritated. "Why us?" Owen asked. "I don't know maybe because he thinks that since you can control the raptors-." "See that's all it's about with you people. I don't control the raptors. It's a relationship based off of mutual respect. That's why you and I never had a second date." He sarcastically replied. (OOOH! SHOTS FIRED!!!!! 😂🔥👏🏼) I couldn't help but giggle; and with my attempt at keeping it in, I snorted. "Excuse me? I never wanted a second date." Claire shot back. I couldn't help but laugh a little. "What kind of diet doesn't allow tequila?" He asked annoyed. "All of them actually. And what kind of guy shows up to a date wearing board shorts?" She shot back. "What? It's Central America. It's hot." He said trying to defend himself. "Okay can we just please focus on the reason I came here?" She desperately asked. "Alright fine." I agreed. Owen groaned. Claire and I both looked at him waiting for an answer. "Fine." He mumbled.

We arrived at the paddock in a short amount of time. As we got out of the car, Claire started to explain what was going on. "She's already hatched but she's a little bigger than we expected. Corporate insisted that we build the walls higher." She explained as we watched some workers who were building a wall up. We walked up the stairs and into a viewing room. "So what is this thing made of?" I asked. "The base genome is T-Rex....the rest is classified." She stated matter-of-factly. "You created a new dinosaur and you don't even know what it's made of?" I asked a little amused at the fact that "the rest was classified." I call B.S on that. "In-Gen creates new dinosaurs and we showcase them to the public." Claire countered. She started tapping on a little screen thingy that was in front of a window. "Where is it?" She asked herself. The security guard put his sandwich down and looked at the thermal cameras. All the screens had the words "No Thermal Signatures Detected" on them. "How's that possible? The gates haven't been opened in weeks!" The security guard pointed out. "Um- were those claw marks always there?" I asked looking at the white marks on one of the walls. Owen walked over along with Claire. "No that's impossible we were just here! Alright, the dinosaur has a tracking implant. I can just go to the control room and track it from there." Claire said quickly exiting the viewing area. Owen, the security guard, and I all walked into the paddock slowly. We kept our eyes open for anything suspicious. We walked over to the wall with the scratches on it. I ran my fingers over the scratches. "You think it could've climbed out?" The security guard asked. "Depends." Owen replied. "On what?" The guard asked. "What kind of dinosaur they cooked up in that lab." Suddenly a voice sounded over the intercom. It was too broken up to hear what they were saying but I could tell something was wrong. The security guard pushed a button on his walkie talkie and asked, "What?" "The dinosaur! It's in there with you!" The girl shouted frantically. "Run!" Owen yelled. We booked it to the door. But suddenly we were stopped by something that you would only see in your nightmares. The Indominus Rex. It glared at us like we had just woken it up from it's nap. We ran back toward the large gate where the security guard was typing in a code so that it would open. I could hear the other guard that was with us being picked up in the jaws of the I-Rex. I just wanted to cry but I knew now was NOT the time. We saw the door start to close and we ran faster than I thought was humanly possible. We made it through the door and Owen pulled me under a jeep that was parked outside. The first security guard was sitting in front of a company car holding some kind of religious necklace to his mouth. Owen and I watched in horror as the Indominus Rex picked him up whole. Then he was gone. Suddenly Owen pulled out his knife and cut one of the fuel pumps and spilled over us. I knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to mask our scent so the dinosaur would just think we were the car. We laid there completely still. I could feel tears prick my eyes. I heard the dinosaur's breath as it leveled it's way down. I saw the blood in its giant teeth and squeezed my eyes shut. The dinosaur let out a roar and stomped away. We both let out a breath we didn't know we were holding. I felt tears start to run down my face. Owen rolled out from under the car and I quickly followed.
