I let out a long sigh and cleaned away at his bloody chest, tightening my legs around his torso as I sat at the counter and pulled him closer. Every so often he winced in pain and let out a small, "Ow."

"Niall, why do you keep doing this." I said, my voice small and very quiet. "You continue getting in these fights and-"

"Stop, I've already told you why Leah." He spoke in a raspy voice, his accent thick as he threw his head back in anger.

"But-"

"Just stop." He ripped the bloody cloth from my hands and forced my legs off from his body, leaving me in confusion. I watched as he quickly walked away then helped myself down from the counter, my brow furrowed in frustration. I made my way to him, catching up. He refused to make eye contact with me and that's when I stepped in front of him, lifting his chin so our gazes met.

"What do you want to do with me anyways, I'm such a screw up and ..." He mumbled, shaking his head.

"I know what can make you feel better," I grinned, wrapping my arms around his neck and standing on the the tips of my toes to reach his lips. I felt his crooked smile against mine as his arms found their way around my waist.

"You know me too well."
