An absence filled the space beside me, something I was used to. Sunlight filled the messy room, clothes scattered and things on the floor. I slowly sat up and rubbed away at my tired eyes, my gaze finding the tall tattooed figure hunched over the dresser. Mumbles fell from the boys mouth as he tugged on fresh clothes and searched for something in particular. 

I wayched contently, not daring to make a sound. Curiosity filled me, along with the usual grumbling of hunger. His head turned and those familiar blue eyes met mine, but they didn't even give me a second glance as they were directed  back to the contents of a backpack filled with things unknown to me. 

I slowly stood, brushing fingers through my long brown hair. 

"Stay." The raspy voice ordered as the backpack was slung onto his back.

Confusion now washed over me. 

A joint now hung from his lips, something I had just wished he'd stop. His expression angered as he cluched his phone to then shove it into his back pocket and pull on shoes. 

I sat down on the bed, wearing only one of his t-shirts over my nude body.
