"Of course I do," he said handing me a black box. "Act like we're a couple."
I opened the box and gasped. Inside was two gold encrusted ruby earrings. Each were 4 centimeters in diameter. Ryan replaced my current earrings with the rubies. We walked hand in hand into the huge ballroom. Soon as we stepped in all eyes were on me. I blushed as Ryan lead me to the dance floor, gracefully dancing with the other couples. Ryan kept me close to him and usually I laid my head on his shoulder.
"So who are we looking for? You never told me." I asked him, wanting to hear his voice.
"His name is Collin Stonefist." Ryan told me, arms prospectively tightening around my waist, "I can see him over there with the red rose." As he told me he turned us till we both could see him.
Collin Stonefist was a classy man. His black hair combed back, black shoes polished, and a crimson bow tie. Collin glanced our way, and saw me. He changed his sly smile to a dazzling one. He started towards us. On impulse Ryan wrapped his arms tighter around me.
