I rolled over in bed and looked at the sun peeking through the curtains. I got up and stretched and looked at my bed to see Amir sprawled out at the bottom.

I ruffled his hair before checking my phone.

I smiled. And finished my morning routine

I walked down the stairs with a big smile on my face and walked into the living room.

Travis, Mama Sheila ,and August were all sitting down watching TV.
