Chapter 21- time to start a new adventure

Bethany's P.O.V

I walked out crying how could Joe not be ready to be a dad, it was his fault I'm pregnant and now I'm a single mother. Screw him I can do this... Right?

1 month later

I was going to the midwives to have another baby scan. Me and Joe haven't spoke since I told him I was pregnant, I still speak to Zoe, Alfie, Jim, Tanya etc but I'm not as close with them anymore.

You can see a little bump but it it's not that big so I decided to wear a baggy hoodie and my black ripped skinny jeans, with my converse.

I grabbed my car keys and went to the car, started the engine and set off.

I finally arrived at the hospital a bit late due to the usual London traffic, I parked and hurried to the room I needed to go to, when I got there the midwife has already set up, as she saw me coming she shook my hand and started the scan.

I finally finished the baby scan and the baby is all good but the midwife told me that if there are any problems go straight to her.

As I wasn't in any rush to go home I decided to go to Starbucks.

I walked into Starbucks and I got a Twitter notifications but I decided I would order first, I ordered a normal Starbucks hot chocolate as it was my favourite. I got to a table and decided to look at the notification assuming it was from a viewer of Joe and it said:

'Joe_Sugg: I do miss waking Up to @xx_bethany_xxx 😞'

I replied with: '@xx_bethany_xxx: meet me at my place tonight at 7 and we'll sort things out'. I sent the tweet out, finished my hot chocolate and thought I'd treat myself to some shopping.

1 hour later

It was now 5:30pm so I thought I'd go back home, I bought some high waisted shorts, 1 crop top (like a belly top but shorter), 2 baggy jumpers and some black skinny ripped jeans.

I decided I would start getting ready ready as Joe would be here soon, I thought I would wear my high waisted shorts with a white short sleeved t-shirt and very little makeup which was concealer and mascara, my hair was up in a messy bun.

1 hour later

I was watching the Big Bang Theory when I heard a knock at my door, I paused the tv and went to answer it, I knew it was Joe and I started to feel butterflies in my stomach. I ignored the feeling and answered the door, and there he was, I didn't realise how much I'd really missed him.

"Joe! You actually came!" My voice sounding happier than it intended to.

"Yeah, it's great to see you. You look gorgeous!" He said eyeing me up and down.

"You don't look so bad yourself Sugg!" I laughed

"So..." Joe added

"We need to talk, like seriously need to talk" I replied with a serious tone of voice.

"Yeah, I just wanted to say how much I regret the past month of not talking to you. I've realised how much of an idiot I was and I wanted to change, so I did."

"Look, Joe, many people may say I've given you way too many chances and personally I think I have, but if you say that you've changed then I am willing to let you show me that change."

"Thank you! Beth you do not understand how happy I am!" Joe spoke as he picked me up and spun me around

"Oh and also I want you to come to the next baby scan with me"
