I sit looking out the window. I look at the busy street. People walking and talking on their phones. Parents holding their children's hand pointing out the little things.
The sun shines bright and here I sat in the little cafe on the corner in LA drinking a cup of coffee and looking at my computer.
A boy walked in his dark sun glasses on and his head down low. He took a seat at the table next to me holding his coffee close to him pulling out his phone.
I payed no attention to him. I looked at my computer and took a sip of my coffee. The waiter walked over and tried talking to me again.
"So cutie how about that date?" He asked looking at me. I rolled my eyes looking at him.
"We go through this every week please leave me alone" I said looking at my computer.
"Awe come on you know you want this" he said flexing his muscle. I didn't realize but the boy at the table over had gotten up and left.
"Ron I would love if you left me alone I told you-" I got cut off by a voice talking over mine.
"Sorry I'm late babe... Traffic. Who's this" it was the boy at the next table. He was helping me out.
"I- uh no one just a waiter" I said looking at Ron then back to the boy who had now placed himself across from me.
"You can leave now thanks" the boy said making Ron scoff and walk away. I got a good luck at the boy. He had brown eyes and brown hair and man was he cute.
"thank you" I said smiling. He smiled back at me.
"No problem it looked like that guy was bothering you" he said. I nodded closing my laptop.
"He does it every week" I said giggling. He smiled bigger.
"You come here every week?" He asked me. I blushed and smiled. I nodded.
"Yeah I come and sit to do work and have coffee" I said to him.
"I'm Jai by the way" he said exchanging his hand across the table. I shook his hand.
"Brianna" I smiled. We sat and talked for a while and he was really nice
"So you moved to LA year ago? No way me too" Jai said making me laugh
"Yeah I moved here to be with my best friend" I smiled thinking of my best friend Eleanor
"I moved here for my group called the Janoskians" he said. I smiled. I used to watch them when I was like 15. Jai is a year older so.
"No way I used to watch your videos" I said. He smiled.
"Really? Who was your favorite?" He smirked. I thought.
"Idk I liked you all" I said. He smiled. His phone went off and I got my stuff standing up.
"Where you going?" He asked me. I smiled.
"If you are ever free I come here every Tuesday at 10:00" I smiled walking away. I walked out and was lost in the crowd. God I hope I see him again.
