Yay! This is the chapter where the plot just starts to begin... >:D Enjoy!

Josh POV

When I got home, I went through my lab and processed the light substance through a scanner. It detected all the materials I put in it and I recreated it. I stayed up all night creating documentation, and more pill things with stronger and weaker strength to make the lump of light clay bright, normal, dim, dimmer, or to glow. By the time I finished everything and had managed to stuff it all in my safe, I had passed out on my bed around four in the morning. Great… Only three hours of sleep… Better turn on my alarm so I wake up at all… Good… Night…

Bridget POV

*In the morning*

I woke up thirty minutes before my alarm went off. Cool. It gave me time to actually try to do my make-up. I took a shower, changed, and brushed my teeth; the usual morning stuff. I ended up being done without waking my mom or dad. By the time I was done with everything(besides breakfast), I had on a short chocolate brown dress on with tiny light pink flowers and vines printed on it with a light tan-ish vest. I pulled on some low cut boots and put on some large hoop earrings. I brushed my eyes with a light pink eye shadow and my cheeks with blush. I added mascara, eye liner, etc. I ran downstairs and made some granola cereal. No, I didn’t take it from a box and pour it in a bowl; I actually took oatmeal, honey, pinch of salt, sugar, raisins, etc. The granola was finished baking it by the time my parents woke up.

“Honey, you made this?” my mom asked me; she had had her mouth stuffed with granola already.

“Yeah, is it O.K.?” I asked her. She nodded. I was happy; she was too – probably… I turned back to the pan of granola and took a masher and mashed the pieces up to make it into a cereal like stuff. I slid the crushed pieces into a large container, poured some in a bowl, and added milk. My dad came down in a nice work suit and a briefcase at hand. Dad was food critic (how cool is that?!) and today, he was going to some type of fancy place I’ve never heard of… Dad already criticized the restaurant, “A Fancy Restaurant,” but never mind; I’m getting off track. Anyway, he sat down and told me to get him some coffee. He never eats breakfast; just coffee and looking down at something whether it was the newspaper, papers from work, or his laptop which was where he wrote his reviews and sent it in to the newspaper people. I turned to look at the clock and unsurprisingly had time to finish my breakfast. When I did finish, I had like ten minutes left. I ran upstairs, snatched my bag and gave a little sprit of perfume to the air then walked through it. I set the bottle down and ran downstairs. I still needed to make it to the bus stop. I arrived just in time to see the bus pulling up.

I got on the bus and scanned the seats for Josh. I couldn’t find him. I walked down the aisle-like walk-way and searched for an empty seat. I slouched in a seat near the back. I sighed. I dropped my bag in front of me and stared out the window. I guess he took his car or something… I thought. I played around with a rubber band and it didn’t fling anywhere until this tall, brunette, short haired guy came up to me…

“You mind if I sit here?” I heard someone say behind me. When he spoke to me, he startled me which sadly, made me accidentally shoot the rubber band in his eye.

“Ahh!!!” he howled, as he brought his hand up to his eye and tenderly covered it.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry,” I stuttered, trying to figure out what to do; it was all so sudden,”Are you O.K.?” I pathetically asked him. He moved his hand away and blinked a little. It was all red and watery… Gross… I tried to keep my focus on if he was O.K. or not, but that was kinda hard for me… I mean, I’m trying to look at him without getting a dazed, disgusted look at him because I mean… I looked like his eye was like… Swollen and stuff... I shivered internally, but on the outside I looked really worried.
