This was a huge huge mistake. Just then, my phone rang. It was ma. If I tell her I'm staying with TWO FRICKING BOYS (and a girl though I didn't even care), she will take the next plane to LA and just go all crazy about this.
I had to do something which I had never done before (to my mom at least), LIE.
"Hello ma? Hey! I am all settled here", I spoke.
"How is the place? And how are your roommates? The girls are not creepy or anything right?", she asked and it gave me goosebumps as she mentioned it.
"The room is really nice, neat and spacious. Oh and my roommates are wonderful! I've never met sweeter girls before haha", I lied rolling my eyes at the word girls.
Mom made some small talk and talked about how much she missed me and obviously I missed her too but I was really freaked out that time, you know why. I hung up and walked to my room. The same stranger was sitting and staring at his laptop screen. I walked in and left the door open hoping that I won't have to run away from here soon.
"Hey there girl! You seemed really flushed back then. Is all okay?", he asked with a tone of worry in his voice.
"Uhhh, yeah actually to be honest I thought I will be staying with 3 other girls, the admin people apparently messed up and here I am. Not that I'm scared or anything but you know, there is always the element of surprise haha", I said trying not to sound creepy.
He smiled and got up and said," Don't worry mate, we won't do anything to piss you off. We'll all have fun. We're all strangers actually. I moved in like 3 hours ago and Sam and Will too. So you're not the only stranger. Don't worry."
I felt a little relieved although I was still pretty scared but then I had chosen that life and I and only I will have to bear its consequences. I mean, how bad could it be?
"By the way, I'm Felix and I'm from the UK. What about you, love?", he said in his very attractive accent. I died a little when he said "love".
I guess you all know by now that I have a thing for British guys, sigh.
"I'm Aaliya. I'm from India", I said nervously as he shook hands with me.
I smiled and I started unpacking my stuff. I could not lift one bag on my own and Felix very kindly helped me.
The door swung open and 2 people walked in, a girl and a guy. I looked at them with a question mark on my face.
"I'm Samantha, Sam for short. I am from Australia", the very beautiful looking tanned girl said in her exotic accent.
"And I'm William, I'm from France", the boy said in his sparkling tone.
"Bonjour! Il est ravi de vous rencontrer." (Hello! It's great to meet you.), I said as I shook hands with them after introducing myself.
"Oooh the Indian speaks French!", Sam said mockingly. "A little haha", I retorted.
I unpacked my things and put my clothes nicely and sat down on my bed. I had a box filled with sweets, mom had packed them for me in case I got hungry.
I offered them to everyone, "This is delicious!", Felix said as he devoured his piece.
"Ummm so what are you guys graduating in?", I asked while chewing the yummy home food.
This was going to be a long day. Things were okay. I was dreading the night because I will get super awkward if I have to sleep near 2 strangely very attractive boys.
God, help me.
