Chapter 4

Zoey's pov
"Bye guys I had so much fun, see you tomorrow," I wave goodbye to Emily, JJ and Penelope after such a fun night.
We went and got our nails done. I got mine black except for my middle finger, that ones a dark blue. They look amazing I think.  The subject of me and Spencer kept coming up. I'm pretty happy that he asked to pick me up for the party, that means more time with him. I love spending time with him, he makes me so happy. The girls think that he's 'In love' with me. They wouldn't stop bringing him up and every time they did I couldn't help but smile. Did the guys talk about me to Spence?  What did he say about me? No stop it Zoey, stop thinking about him. Saturday
Spencer is coming to pick me up at 7 and its 5 already, I don't know what I'm going to wear! After my shower I finally pick out a black dress with a little bit of blue in it that is about thigh length. For shoes I choose blue heels that are probably 3 inches. I curl my hair once again, I like my hair better curled than straight. I'm kinda nervous, but I'm not sure why. It's not like a date with him.
I look over at my phone, oh god it's seven. He's going to be here any minute. Do I look okay? I quickly go over to a mirror and look at myself. I have to say, I look pretty good. All of the sudden there's a knock at the door, he's here. I grab my purse and walk to the door.
"Hey Spence!" I say cheerfully opening the door.
"Hey Zo," he smiled "you look, wow...beautiful," he said scratching the back of his neck.
"Thanks, you look pretty good yourself," I say blushing
"I like your nails," he said opening the car door for me
"Thank you," I smile at him.
I look over at him and he's staring at me.
I giggle
"Oh sorry," he says shaking his head, "you're just so beautiful,"
"Stop being so sweet," I blush
When we walk in everyone on the teamed  'awed' at us.
I go over to the girls.
"Guys nothing is happening, so stop 'awing' " I said sitting down.
"Are you sure nothing has happened. When you walked in both of your guy's cheeks were red," Penelope pointed out
"He called me pretty, that's it," I spit out
"AWEE!" They squeal
"I'm getting a drink," I laugh getting up
When I walk up to the bar I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around and see Morgan.
"Hey short stuff," he said
"New nickname huh?" I laughed
"Yeah you like it?" He laughs back
"It fits me pretty well," I say making fun of my own height.
"Hey listen I don't think he wanted me to tell you this, but Spencer really likes you,"
"Does he?" I say talking a sip of my drink
"Yeah, so if he just stares at you for a while don't be creeped out," he laughs
"Hey, tell him I like him too," I smirk
Wait what am I thinking
"wait, no don't," I grab Derek's arm as he walked away
"I'll keep your secret short stuff," he laughs walking back to the table.
A couple seconds later I turn around and see Spencer heading over to the bar.
"Hey Zo," he says taking a seat beside me
"Hey Spence, you having fun?"
"Eh, not really," he shrugged his shoulders
"Yeah same," I said
"Um do you want to um...maybe dance?" He said rubbing the back of his neck again
"Of course, I would love to," I smile getting up from my seat.
He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. I can tell everyone from the BAU was staring at us but I don't care, all I care about is him.
After a couple upbeat songs a slow song came on. I wrap my arms around his neck as he grabs on to my waist. I lay my head on his shoulder and the whole world around me stopped. All I could think about was Spencer. The song ended pretty fast, I wish it lasted longer
"I'm going to go get another drink," I say at the end of the song. Before I walk away I give him a flirty kiss on the cheek.
I was exhausted, I dance most of the  night. I only had a couple of drinks so I wasn't drunk, but a little tipsy.
When everyone was saying goodbye to each other JJ said "That was adorable, you and Spencer. You have to tell me if anything else happens tonight,"
When me and Spencer get in the car I put my hand on his knee and said,
"Hey, thank you. I had the time of my life while we were dancing,"
"Me too Zo," he smiles and puts his hand on top of mine. We stayed like that the whole way home.
A couple minutes later he pulls up to my apartment and walked me up to my door
"I had a great time tonight," he said rubbing the back of his neck like he always does
"Me too," I blushed
"Listen Zoey, ever since your first day at the BAU I couldn't stop thinking about you. Tonight was amazing and magical. You're just so beautiful and amazing and sweet. I guess what I'm trying to say is. Will you be my girlfriend?"
I did the first thing that came to my mind.
I grabbed his face and pulled him in for a kiss. He grabs my waist like he did when we were dancing but this time he pulled me in close to him so there was no space between us. When I pulled away he looked shocked.
"That was a yes," I said in a flirty tone
"That was, wow," he still looked shocked
"Spence, I'm really tired so I'm going to go to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow,"
"But tomorrow's Sunday?" He looked confused
"Yeah and you're coming over tomorrow, goodbye Spencer," I give him a quick kiss on the cheek before closing the door.
I lean against the door after I closed it, I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. Wait, is he still out there? I can hear something outside my door.
"Spence, are you still out there?" I asked through the door.
"No," he called back
I open the door, grab the collar of his shirt pulling him in for another kiss.
He pushed me up against the wall while never breaking the magical kiss. I run my fingers through his messy hair as he bit my lip a little. who knew he was such a good kisser. The kiss probably lasted a minute until we both pulled away at the same time.
"Good night Spencer," I smirked
"Good night Zoey," he smirked back
Tonight was amazing.
