Zoey's pov
I wake up to the piercing sound of my alarms clock at 5:00 a.m I hit the snooze and cover my body in the warm blankets when I realized that I can't go back to sleep, today is the first day of my new job at the BAU! I've been so excited for this for the past couple of weeks, I can't wait to meet new people and hopefully become friends with them. I slowly crawl out of bed, I'm excited but tired. I walk into my closet and debate on what to wear, I decide on a black pencil skirt and a dark blue blouse. I curl my hair a little and put on some natural looking makeup and leave my apartment a little early so I can stop at Starbucks.
I order a simple Carmel Frap and walk out the door, now my morning is complete.
I'm super nervous for this job. What if they don't like me? What if I'm not smart enough? I need to stop doubting myself, I'll do find. I hope.
When I get to the sixth floor I see a dark skinned man heading my way
"You must be Zoey Hanson, I'm Derek Morgan, nice to meet you," he shakes my hand
"Yeah that's me," I giggle "could you point me to agent Hotchners office?"
"Right over there," he points to his right
"Thank you," I smile
"Anytime," he replied
I nervously walk over to his office and knock on the door
"Come in," a deep voice calls from inside the room
As I walk in and he stands up
"You must be Zoey Hanson, nice to meet you" he shakes my hand
"Nice to meet you, agent Hotchner" I smiled
"Please, call me Hotch," he said "follow me, you can meet the rest of the team,"
Oh gosh I really hope they like me
"Everyone, this is Dr. Zoey Hanson. She's joining the team starting today," Hotch introduced me to the team
A tall, fit blonde girl walked up to me and shook my hand, she was very pretty
"Nice to meet you I'm Jennifer, but you can call me JJ"
Next a Italian man came up to me, "I'm David Rossi, glad to have you on the team,"
Then a nice lady that introduced herself as Emily Prentice said hello, I can tell we are going to be friends.
Then Derek walked up to me, "Nice to see you again Zoey, oh and by the way you can call me Morgan" he smiled
Next a plum lady dressed in very colorful clothes came up to me and gave me a big hug
"Hi, I'm Penelope Garcia I hope we can be friends," she said very cheery.
"Me too," I smiled
Lastly a tall skinny man with shaggy brown hair slowly walked up to me, he's cute. No stop it Zoey he's your co worker, but he's still really cute
"Um, hi I'm Dr. Spencer Reid. You can call me uh Spencer, or um Reid. Whatever you'd like," He stuttered
"Nice to meet you Spencer," I smile and shook his hand.
Wow he's really cute.
Spencer's pov
"Guys, this is Zoey Hanson" I hear Hotch say to the team.
I look up from my book and see one of the most beautiful girl in the world. She has long light brown hair that goes past her shoulders, big beautiful brown eyes that sparkle and a beautiful smile. I must've sounded like an idiot trying to talk to her.
"Ooh pretty boys got a crush," Morgan chanted after Zoey left to room
"What, no I don't," I lied
"Whatever you say pretty boy but I think you've got a crush on Zoey," he smirks
I just roll my eyes and ignore him.
When she walks back in my heart starts beating, then she takes a seat beside me. Oh god she's beautiful.
"Hey, oh my god I love this book," she points at the book I'm reading.
"Oh yeah, me too, this is the third time I've read it"
"Really, I've read it three times too," she laughs
"Okay guys, there was three teenage girl's bodies found in the same place throughout the past week," Garcia said "Morgan Davis, Lily Gibson and Christina Cook," pictures of their dead bodies come on the board
I look over at Zoey and she looks sick to her stomach.
"Hey, you okay?" I ask concerned
"Oh yeah, I'm fine" she smiled
"Do the girls have anything in common?" JJ asked
"Yes," Garcia replied "they all have long brown hair and brown eyes. Morgan was 13, Lilly 13 and Christina 14,"
"We just got notified that there is a 14 year old Hannah Weldon missing," Hotch says walking in late
"Fourteen?" Zoey asked
"Yes,"
"What was the order of the bodies being found?" She asked
"Um, Morgan, Lilly and last Christina" says Garcia
"This might sound dumb, but what if it's a pattern. He started with two thirteen year old and then two fourteen, if we don't find Hannah in time he might kill her and kidnap two fifteen year olds,"
"Good thinking Hanson, Wheels up in thirty," Hotch says walking out
"Hey that was a good theory," I say to Zoey trying not to sound dumb
"Thanks, I try to sound smart," she laughs. She's so cute when she laughs
On the plane I save a seat beside me for Zoey, hopefully I don't sound to desperate. I'm just saving a seat for a friend.
I see Zoey walk in, "Hey Zo, I saved you a seat" Zo really Spencer
"Zo, I like that" Zo, good one Spencer
"I'm going to get a coffee, want one?" I asked getting up
"Yeah, thanks"
I walk over to the coffee machine and I hear footsteps behind me
"So, getting coffee for your girl" Morgan smirked at me
"She's not my girl, she's just my friend," I rolled my eyes
"I saw you saved her a seat, nice move pretty boy,"
"Oh be quite Morgan"
"Here you go Zo," I said handing her her coffee
"Thanks Spence," she smiled at me
"Okay guys," Hotch started "when we land JJ and Prentice go to the victims house to talk to there parents. Morgan, Rossi and I will go talk to Hannah's parents. Reid and Hanson go to the crime scene,"
"Yay, I get to go to my first crime scene with my favorite Doctor," Zoey said ruffling my hair.
My cheeks turn to a bright red and I couldn't help but smile, I'm her favorite doctor
