Alexi's POV.

Another day, another new thing to conquer.

And today, it was yardwork.

Me and Tyler had been sent outside for fighting again, the same old usual fight about how I was better looking than him, and he would slam me into the wall, and I would make him trip down the stairs, nothing to big, but mom had had enough of it, and we had to do the entire yard by dinner. If not, well in other words, if we didnt finish, we would die very slowly and painful.

I walked outside in the blazing sun, my shorts and tanktop on, and my hair sloppily thrown up into a bun to maybe avoid as much sweat. Tyler was wearing some khacki shorts and no shirt on, and I knew he was trying to impress the twin collage sisters across the street, but what he didnt know was that they liked Hank and Henry, not him, but would I tell him that? Nope. Never in my lifetime.

"Lets get to it." He muttered as he went around back, completely leaving me in the front yard to figure out what to do by myself. There were some flowers that needed to be planted, bushes that needed to be trimmed, the grass needed to be mowed, and weeds needed to be pulled. Oh joy.

I sat down in the grass by the flower beds and started making small, and aligned holes to plant the flowers in, getting that done first. From the backyard, I heard the mower crank up, and I knew that Tyler would be getting the yard mowed, so one less thing for me to do. Whoopie!

The flowers were kind of pretty, different colors from purple to yellow to white, and I tried to color code it, but whoever bought the plants bought them without getting the same amount of each color. No doubt one of the boys. My mother would have never been so stupid to not buy the same amount of each plant.

As I dropped them in the holes, I would carefully fill dirt in beside it so it could stand up straight and then get the hose and water it a little bit. Right as I finished, I realized that i still had to do a lot, in less than 2 hours. I kind of needed to hurry.

I bent down to get the hose and the containers the flowers had come in, and carelessly tossed them aside. Not my problem.

We finished just in time to not be skinned alive by our mother, and we walked in all sweaty and smelly, and not to forget... starving.

"Go take showers." My mother ordered as she fixed Bentleys plate full of heaps of delicious chicken and vegtables, and I felt myself wanting to drool at the sight of food. "Now Alexi. Tyler." My mother said, stopping to look at us with a look of anger on her face. "Your stinking up my house!"

"But-" I started off.

"No buts."

"But-" Tyler said.

"NO BUTS."

We both bowed our heads and took off running upstairs to fight over who took the first shower, and being the biggest and the toughest, I, of course lost.
