I wake up to the cold winds nibbling on my toes as I start to curl up into a small ball under my blankets and then I emerge to the cold air in freezing Japan. I look out my window to see snow every time I force myself to focus on just one small snowflake I can see all of the different details and all of the different sizes maybe in portions they all look the same but one by one they are magnificent as they softly fall onto a pure white sheet of snow so new so blank no footsteps or small dents it was perfect. My feet started to become numb and nimble as I stood there on the bare wooden floor so I ran up to my room and started to get ready for school so I could be the first footprints in the perfect or at least seemingly perfect blanket of pure white snow, even though I lived alone I still liked to beat the animals hehe. As I ran out in my military school uniform which consisted of (for girls) a black skirt and a white polo and black shoes I felt accomplished as I walked on the perfect snow until I came upon bigger (than my feet) foot prints "was another person living here?" I thought to myself, so me being my curious self I decide to follow them. The footsteps led to a small cottage where I found hot water in a kawaii (cute) little tea pot, the air smelled of apples and Cinnamon which made sense once I looked into the oven it was a pie! It is really surprising because no-one in Japan used to be cheerful in any way it’s as if the whole town was a light shade of gray. I dozed off into a daydream of my old home, in Tokyo, Japan music playing all around me, different stores, smells, colors, animals and most of all people. I had a semi-big house and two dogs a Labrador and a Great Dane the labs name was Cathy and the Great Dane’s name was George. I loved my old home my parents looked the happiest there matter of fact my whole family did, which consisted of my little brothers both 10 (twins) my big brother 17 me and my parents until a horrible accident happened me and my family were separated. I almost broke into tears from the memories until I heard a deepish voice of a boy who sounded my age he said:

"What are you doing here!?!" I swear I could hear him grind his teeth as I said shyly

"I’m sorry I didn’t know anyone lived here"

"Well maybe you should just leave it alone next time""Or maybe you should shut your damn door, next time" I said in a mockingly voice out of annoyance, until I focused on his face so clean so perfect, it was almost unreal until he snapped me back into reality by saying

"Well, what do you want?" he said in an expecting voice.

that’s right I did want to ask him questions didn’t I, hmm now what where those questions I guess I had a confused look on my face because he sat down on a wooden chair as he waved his hand invitingly to a small chair in front of him. So I sat down and tried to make up some questions as I blurted out

"So what’s your name?" gahh crappy questions =_=

"My name is Mason Griffen and yours?"

I hesitated but told him "Lillian Justice"

his blue eyes weren’t common for me because well ive never seen blue eyes but they fit him nicely especially with his dark brown hair that he styled to spike up in the back with side swept bangs to go along with his nicely toned body you would have to do allot of running and weight lifting to be 16 and to have a six pack well that all I could see through his clothes that looked like pajamas, which included a tightish white T-shirt and baggy pants. I was sitting there staring into space as he sliced the pie and the invigorating apple scent filled the room he had two plates set out and he sliced one put it on the plate then did the same with the others he pushed it toward me as I said

"No thanks I’m good" and my stomach just had to growl which I hope he didn’t hear but of course he said almost in sync of my thought he said

"Are you sure go with your stomach trust me you need it" as he pointed to my stomach.

"I’ll take that as a complement" as I started to eat away it was delicious it reminded me of my old home it reminded me of the different smells and flavors that were out there. Ever since my parents left I’ve had to cook for myself and that is not a good idea I’m on a strict diet of water and fish with the occasional side of rice.

when we were done I stared around the house that he had it was a cozy little cottage and I couldn’t help but notice a small door behind the stove just peeking out about half way. Then he called to my attention as he said

"So where do you live?" I wanted to tell him but I was a bit embarrassed how I could tell him my whole family died and now I live alone in a small house my parents left me with a diet of fish and I have way to much pride

"Oh I live out in town you know in Tokyo” Us being in

“Yes maybe one day I would let a little boy (even though he towered over me) into my house that didn’t even want me in his house”

“Yes maybe you should “he said in the same mocking voice I used the first time

I glared at the clock

“I’m almost late for school!!”

“Let me drive you” he pulled out a pair of shiny silver car keys.

“Fine” I crossed my arms and almost let out a scream when he pulled me toward his garage

“What did I just agree to” I thought in my head.
