Infected: Kill or be Killed

'Hey kid'

-Rose POV-

Me and Cherry wakes up to people laughing we walked in and Kate and Jenny are making pancakes they had flour everywhere "oh hey guys!" I started cleaning and ate a pancake "so I'm going out later for supplies anyone want to come?" "Me and Jenny will go" Jenny smiled "so girls you will have to be brave and be ready for what you see out there?"

"Yep" "ok girls there's some thing we need to do today first board up all entrances but the roof" Kate said we all stArting boarding up the windows and covering them with paper it was only three stories so it took a couple hours making sure ever building was Sealed I came across a room that had dolls in it looked like for homeless kids? There was picture of the children and they where all happy. The room creeped me out and made me sad thinking about those children and how they where doing...

I walked out of the room and into your room and say on your bed waiting for times to do something else "hey Rose can you pack a bag for us before we leave" Kate said you got a bag and put food drinks and a knife in there you where planning to carry your bat ( in a chapter they got bats from the mall) it was still 7 am you looked out your window and saw the sunset it was beautiful i wished i could keep it in a bottle....

"Bye Cherry !" I hugged Cherry me,Jenny, and Kate climbed up to the roof, Kate went to the side of the building to the ladder she looked around when she saw no one was out there she started to climb down we climb down one by one. "Ok there's a old grocery store down a couple blocks" Kate said we started quietly running trying to dodge every infected thing.

We saw a little preschool "hey do you hear that?" I heard crying?....  "Guys there's a kid in there!" We walked in  there was toys thrown everywhere we even seen a drop of blood, the crying got louder I was led to a play room in the closet , we slowly started walking to the closet I got my bat and opened the door with it under the clothes was a 4 or 3 year old!

She was crying and looked afraid, I grabbed a bear "hey sweetie it's ok , you have  to quiet down so we'll be all ok" I smiled she was looking at me and grabbed the bear 'it may belong to her?' " we can't just leave her " Kate looked at the child "we'll find her a blanket so won't get cold" we grabbed a blanket and wrapped her "there may be food here?" We grabbed our bag and went to the food pantry crackers, gold fish, cheese crackers, and juices and water.

"We need to go back to the shelter since we have her now" we started to walk back and we heard a herd we hid by the house being quiet , we where all looking at the little girl praying she won't cry. After the. Infected left we started to go back to the shelter I was holding the little girl with her bear in her hand and her blanket around her.

When we started to climb back up the ladder I made sure to hold the little girl tight when we made in back in the building Cheery looked up then her jaw dropped "who had a baby?!"
