Chapter 1

"I'm sorry but what was that Riot?!" Rebel yelled at her twin brother who was harshly pinned beneath her.
"Well Reb," Riot yelled back, between grunts of pain, "I said you're so moody all the time time cause you're closer to hell!"
Rebel narrowed her eyes and tightened her grip on Riot, "Call me short one more time, make my day. I. Dare. You." She hissed.

"Rebel Redfox, get off your brother this instant, young lady!"

Rebel flinched, hearing her mother's serious tone. Just as she was about to argue, Riot twisted beneath her and tossed her off like a ragdoll.

Pushing her thick black hair out of her face, Rebel stood up and glared at her twin, "I hate you, I really do."

With a slow chuckle and an arrogant smirk, Riot sauntered out of the living room, leaving Rebel alone to face their mother's wrath.

Rebel reluctantly turned in the direction she had heard her mother's voice coming from. Her eyes instantly locked on the small blue haired woman who was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.

Rebel always felt kind of confused when she saw her mother, people said that she looked a lot like her, but Rebel never really saw it.

Her mother, Levy, had bright blue hair, warm eyes and a kind smile that never seemed to fade no matter how bad the situation was. Rebel on the other hand, inherited her thick, unruly black hair from her father, had the same brown eyes from her mother yet they seemed to lack the friendly warmth and Rebel never smiled, she either smirked or grinned, but never a full smile.

In her opinion, the only thing she had in common with her mother was her height, or to be exact, her lack of it.

"Rebel?" Her mother said, her tone serious.
"Yes?"
"You're cleaning up the mess."
"Yes.."
"Good girl, oh and next time Riot calls you short, beat him to a pulp" Levy said with a wink, before leaving.

Rebel smirked and began cleaning up the mess she had made.

Riot rolled his shoulders and cussed, his sister didn't hold back this time. He checked the time and groaned. Grabbing his jacket he ran back to Rebel, "We're late, let's go." He told his sister, already heading to the door.

"Mom, we're leaving." He heard Rebel yell, before she caught up with him.

"How late are we?" She asked, tying her hair up and adjusting her gloves.
Riot shrugged, "Only about ten minutes, but Silver is probably losing his mind."

Riot snuck a glance at his sister when he mentioned Silver, and smirked when he saw her light up a fraction.

He knew Rebel would never admit to liking Silver, but Riot knew her way too well to not notice the tiny details, like the way she always readjusted her clothes before walking up to him, or the tiny smile she gets when talking to him, especially considering that was the only time she ever smiled.

Shaking his head, he sighed, he should be the last one talking about liking someone. He was in love with one of his best friends for as long as he could remember, but he would never confess.

With his blue hair, crimson eyes and piercings, he never stood a chance with her.

Nashi Dragneel was simply out of his league and he knew and accepted it.

When they reached the guild hall, he saw Rebel straighten out her shirt and a small smirk settled on her face.

Riot sighed again, he wished he was as calm and collected as his sister, but no matter how hard he tried, or what he told himself, he couldn't stop his heart from racing at the prospect of seeing Nashi.

He shook his head a bit roughly, he didn't have time to be thinking about stuff like this. Today he was going to tell his team his plan and he couldn't wait to see their reactions.

Walking into the guild hall, the spirit of adventure was palpable in the air. He smirked, typical of Fairy Tail.
