Kise Ryota's POV:
I moved my hand beside me trying to find my most favourite source of warmth which is Y/N-Chhi but like every day there was none. I sighed as I opened my eyes, looking beside me and I guessed correctly. Y/N-Chhi already awaked earlier than me like usual. I pouted. I want her to bid me morning, give me a morning kiss and as well as wish me Happy Birthday. Yeah... Today was my birthday. I shrugged it off. Maybe Y/N-Chhi will wish me later on. Might as well take a bath first. I took my towel that was hanged on the hanger and proceed to my bathroom.
"Y/N-Chhi?" I look at her as she was taking her coat and grab her handbag.
"Where are you going?" It's weekend, she didn't have to go to school today, right? Right. I panicked when she came out of our bedroom with a pair of her sport shoe.
"Y/N-Chhi?" I grabbed her hand gently.
"I'm sorry Ryota, I need to go to school gym, today. Seirin's basketball match is around the corner and Taiga has food poisoning. That's why I need to go to school as his substitute." Y/N-Chhi tell me as she look at me.
"But Y/N-Chhi..."
"I'm sorry Ryota, can you have your breakfast alone, today? I already prepared it for you." She sat down to wears her shoe.
"But..." She stood up and pecked my lip.
"See you later, Ryota. Love you." She went out of the door and shut the door. Leaving me dumbfound.
"But today is my birthday." I sighed heavily. Why can't she just wish me happy birthday? I know the match is important. But it won't take like 2 hours to wish me Happy Birthday. Does she didn't love me anymore? I slapped myself. Get a grip, Ryota! She just said that she love me before she went out.
I sighed again. Walking toward the kitchen to have breakfast. ALONE. My eyes widen as I look at my breakfast.
"Well... At least she make my favourite French Onion Soup for me." I unwrapped my food. "Ittadakimasu!"
I sighed looking at the clock. It's already 5 p.m. and Y/N-Chhi didn't come home yet. I had called her for 18 times but she didn't answer all of my call and heck she didn't call me back. "Where are you, Y/N-Chhi?!" I half yelled. Why can't we celebrate my birthday just the three of us, today? You, baby-chhi and I. Does she ever remember my birthday?
RING RING
My eyes snapped at my phone. Without looking at the caller ID, I answered the phone call. "HELLO?!"
"Ah. Hello Mr Kise."
I slumped down disappointedly. "Yes Lisa?"
"I'm sorry to call you at this time. But Mr Honda wanted to meet you now. Is that possible?"
Mr Honda? Oh god, I forgot about my appointment with him. "Yes sure."
"Great! I'll let him know." I heard her talking to Mr Honda over there.
"Mr Kise, Mr Honda said that he will wait you at the Garden Café across of our boutique."
"Yes. Thanks Lisa. I'll be there shortly." I hung up the call and drive to the café.
I parked my car at the parking space of the café. Walking toward the café in a business mode as I pushed the café's door but was greet with darkness.
"Huh?" Didn't Lisa say that he will wait me at this café?
"SURPRISE!!!"
"Huh?" I was speechless as the light was switch on and people were clapping their hand. Everyone was here. My family, my friends, my colleagues and my cute wife. I look at Y/N-Chhi as she light on the cake's candles. 'Cake?'
After that she walked to me and hugged me tightly. "Happy Birthday, Ryota."
My eyes widen then it started to blur my vision.
"Ryota?! What's wrong?!" She asked panicked.
"I thought you forgot about my birthday!" I whined at her. She started to giggle. "How could I forget my husband's birthday? Geez Ryota." Then she pecked my cheek lovingly.
"Get a grip, Ryota! You're going to be a dad! You should mature a bit!" Rei Onee-Chan shouted at me.
Everyone started to wish me Happy Birthday. I ate the birthday cake bake for me specially with a happy face. Y/N-Chhi really didn't forget about my birthday!
