Chapter 1: Bumping into him

*kringgggg* The alarm clock rang loudly as I slept on my bed. I groan and raise up my hand and stop the alarm and slept again. "Jee! Wake up! School will be starting any minute!" I hear my mom yelling from downstairs. "Five more minutes...." I mumble then fall back to sleep. "If you're asking for five minutes more then be sure to feel cold water on your body!" That's when I woke up. "I'm awake!" I yell in panic. I'm sure she's smirking right now.

I got out from the bed and walk into the bathroom. I did the necessary stuffs to be done in the bathroom and walk out from the bathroom. I wore my school uniform and open the door of my room and walk downstairs.

I sat down on one of the chairs in the dining table. Mom came out of the kitchen and place my breakfast in front of me which is..."Bacon and egg!" Yep. I'm a bacon-lover. And speaking of bacon, there's a guy in my class whose name sounds like bacon too. Haha.

I ate my breakfast and got up from my seat. I peck on my mom's cheek as I wave at her. I walk out from my house and inhale the fresh morning air. I began my walk towards my school. Ah! You guys probably don't know me yet. My name is Park Jeeneul. I go to MHS which stands for Moonlight High School. I live together with my mom. My dad? Well...he died in an accident before I was born so I didn't get to meet him. But my mom tells me a lot of stories about him. From her stories, I knew that he was a great man.

I reach my school and so I enter with a smile on my face. I walk down the hallway and enter my classroom. There I was met with my best friends, Sky and Myujeu. They have been my bestfriend since elementary school. They were chatting with their boyfriends.

Remember when I said there's a guy whose name sounds like Bacon? Well, he's Myujeu's boyfriend and his real name is Byun Baekhyun. And Sky's boyfriend is Park Chanyeol. He is known as happyvirus because of his friendliness and kindness towards people. And, me? Well, I don't have a boyfriend. Crush? Yeah, I have a crush on someone. His name is Lay and he's my senior. He is so kind towards people and he is forgetful sometimes but that makes him cuter.

"Ohoho~ Thinking about him again~ Fufufu~ Look at you, smiling like an idiot." Sky laugh as she made fun of me. I snap out of my thoughts and I look at her. "Our Jee is growing up." Myujeu smile at me. "Why don't you just ask him out?" Chanyeol said while looking at me dumbly. Sky smack his shoulder. "Girls are not suppose to ask a guy out. Guys are the one who should ask girls out." Sky said with a glare. Chanyeol raise an eyebrow. "There are girls who ask guys out." He said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Well, they are they. But, its more romantic if a guy ask a girl out." Sky said with a sweet smile on her face. Chanyeol can't help but to peck her cheek. Sky widen her eyes and smack his shoulder lightly out of of embarrassment. "Yah...not in front of them..." She buried her face in her hands. We laugh at her cuteness.

The teacher came inside. "Please take you seat." He said. Our teacher's name is Sam Smith. He's British. He's our English teacher. "Take out your books and open to page 23." He instruct us. We open our books to page 23. Then, the class started.

*time skip* (lunch break)

Me and my friends walk out of the class chatting and laughing. We were on our way to the cafeteria. As I was talking to them, I bump into someone and fell down on my butt. I groan in slight pain as my butt hits the floor. "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" A worried voice spoke in panic. I look up and my face heat up.

In front of me stood my one and only crush. Lay. I look down in embarrassment. "I-I'm okay..." I said softly. "I'm sorry. Here, let me help you up." I can see a hand extended towards me. I look at it and glance at my friends. They were urging me to hold it. I gulp and look at his hand. I place my hand on his shyly.
