Emma's POV

I put on some fishnet tights and a pair of Ruby's shorts, I grabbed a white tank top and my red leather jacket, I pulled on a pair of riding boots and applied a small amount of eye make up. I put on some lipstick and ran downstairs, grabbing some loose change on the way. I saw Mary Margaret in a white lace dress and red heels. "You look like a teenage hooker." She says laughing. "Well you look like the virgin Mary." I say laughing harder. We grab our stuff and leave. I get in Mary Margaret's car, and she drives down the quiet road to The Rabbit Hole. I grab my stuff out of the car and walk in, the smell of booze hits me instantly, making my eyes sting. I sit at the bar, whilst Mary Margaret goes and dances with Kathryn. I order a blue WKD and pour it into a red cup. I smile as I see Ruby point at Mayor Mills, who is wearing a skin tight black dress and some black suede heels, with some opaque tights, she was sat at a table, alone, on her birthday. I decide to walk over and offer her some of my drink. "Uhm....Hi? H-Happy birthday." Damn, where did my confidence go? "I-well-I thought you looked lonely, so I came to say hey and-well... Do you want a drink?" I finally spit out. "I thought you'd never ask." She replied, snatching the bottle out of my hand and drinking the majority of what was left. I sat down beside her and ordered two more bottles. I fumbled around in my pocket, looking for my loose change. I put it all on the table and started yo count it. "Ugh, I'll pay." She sighed. "No." I protested. "Its your birthday and I want to." She rolled her eyes and pulled out two hundred dollar bills. "You'll pay." I laughed. She smiled and carefully put them back in her purse. "So, what is your story, because, hell, I dont even know your name." She chuckled nervously. I smiled. "My name is Emma Swan, my mom is Mary Margaret Blanchard. She can't remember who my dad is. My best friend is Ruby, I work at the diner, and pay rent to live with my mom. I'm saving up to get my own place and go to college. I am an outcast. I just dont fit in." I explain. She smiled at me and was about to speak when the bartender came and delivered our drinks. "Here," I said timidly sliding the drink over to her. She picked it up and tookū a big drink before setting it back down on the table. "Now you." I laughed, she smiled. "Okay." She smiled and took another drink. "I have been mayor for a long time, my mother, Cora, she was mayor too. She was very power hungry, she wanted the best for me - her only child. My first love was killed and I caught a glimpse of my true love, but I was too cowardly to tell him. But, yeah, I am thinking of adopting though. I can't have kids myself. My mother made sure of that." I frowned. "What do you mean?" I asked, she contemplated telling me - everything, but decided against it. "She tricked me into taking this po-tablet" she corrected herself and watched as I drank some more. Before long we were both dancing.
