**Luke's POV**

"Luke! Hurry up, our flight leaves in an hour! We have to go!" Mom yelled to me from at the bottom of the stairs.

"Okay, I'll be down in a second!" I yelled back to her. Our voices echoed throughout the empty household. My parents and I were moving from our house in Sydney to a nice home in Northern California. This isn't the first time I have moved. In my entire life I have moved about 10 times. So I've gotten used to the routine.

I grabbed my final suitcase, my iPhone, and headphones and head down to the taxi waiting to take off to the airport.

When we landed, I swiftly grabbed my bags and bolted out to the taxi taking us to our new house.

As we approached our destination, I stared intently at the ginormous home. This was certainly the nicest house I've lived in.

I headed inside and took a look around. 'Wow, this place is awesome...' I thought as I browsed around. Mom came up behind me and tapped my shoulder. I instantly swung around, looking at her curiously.

"Your room is upstairs, last door on the right." A smile appeared on my face before I darted up the stairs, to the last door on the right.

I turned the knob and entered. I instantly fell in love. It had my guitar set up, posters hung; it was perfect. There was also a wooden dresser, a big mirror, a king sized bed, some shelves, and two huge windows giving me a view of the beautiful backyard. As I continued to admire the place, I started to slowly remove my hood, kick off my black converse and jumped onto my bed. I turned on some Nirvana and started to relax.

Mom and Dad came in as Mom asked with warm smile, "So, do you like new house?"

I grinned, looking around my room again.

"Yes. I love it..." My smile faded away when reality struck my mind.

"What's wrong honey?" Mom asked, curious. I sighed.

"It's just... All this will be gone soon. You know? We'll probably being moving in about a year right?" Mom and dad smirked at each other.

"What?" I asked, sort've annoyed.

"Luke," Dad started to speak. "We've landed very good jobs here, with great pay."

My eyes widened. "Does this mean..?" I said softly, looking hopefully up at them.

Mom looked back at me with a generous grin. "This means we'll be staying here from now on."

"So I'll be here until I graduate?"

They nodded looking, disappointingly.

But I jumped up and screamed, "YES!"

They were a little startled by my sudden action, but they had no idea how much this meant to me. I could finally make friends and keep them. Now I could start a normal life.

I hugged them both.

"I'm glad your so happy Luke." Mom said, a little out of breathe from me squeezing them both.

"Guys... I don't think I've never been this happy before."

"Oh... Well I'm glad you're happy. Your father and I are going to head downstairs and start unpacking, okay?"

"Okay, bye."

They waved to me and walked out. I sighed with a grin on face. I'm so glad we're staying put this time. I put my headphones back in, slid under the covers and slowly faded into the dream world.
