Another time...

The Doctor and Amelia Pond had been trapped in a futuristic maze for 28 hours and 17 minutes, at least

that's what the huge bright red letters that raced across the floor announced. Every turn was a choice, and

every choice manifested another obstical such as jumping over rivers of slime and cracking another code,

those came easy for The Doctor who seemed to feel his infinite knowledge was always to be used

sparingly.

The last choice was split between left, right, or to keep running strait. If you looked down each hallway it

seamed to go on forever, or virtually forever, but you would find a hall of mirrors or a hologram in it's place.

Running strait on they came to a large underground river, the walls behind them snapped shut and the

doctor and Amelia were left standing on a four ft cliff stretching out to the rivers mouth.

"Fancy a dip?" the doctor gave a goofy smile, this was all just a game to him.

Amelia was catching her breath, she pushed her bright red hair back and with her rich scottish accent she

remarked, "don't leave me much of a choice do you?"

They both dove in as '28 hours and 20 minutes' shimmered in the water. But once they were both in the

water and thoroughly soaked, it all drained down, 50 ft down and they both stood, dripping wet,

surrounded by tall 10x50 stone walls.

"well that's tricky" the doctor stood there with his hands in his pockets as his wide eyes darted around their

small dungeon. " how are we gonna get out of this?"
