"Exploring is important." Jackson cheered as he threw his hands up, over exaggerating his point.
"More important then sleep?" I groaned rubbing my eyes tiredly.
"Yep!" He smiled brightly causing me to roll my eyes. I just wanted to sleep.. not walk around in this.. this..winter wonderland. I rubbed my arms shivering.
"Ryan look!"he yelled causing me to snap out of my thoughts and look to where he was pointing.
"A..roller skating place." I asked and he smiled brighter. Aye.. it was too early for this..
"Not just that, but also a food bar, aracade, and a bowling area too."he said grabbing my arm dragging me to the doors.
"Jackson I don't want to-" I began to say but he cut me off... how rude.
"Lets have some fun since we just so happen to find the place."he said as I rolled my eyes.
Something tells me he knew it was here...
****
"IM GOING TO DIE" I fake cried as I clung onto the wall, not wanting to move on my skates.
"Ryan." Jackson said coming back from his round around the roller skating area. "Your still here?"he asked shaking his head.
"Fuck this, I'm going to the arcade." I whined slipping on my skates a bit. I gripped onto the wall again. "I'm gonna die" I cried. Jackson started talking but I blocked him out wallowing in my self pity.
Then he skated by. Our eyes met. His shining in the light. They were... Beautiful. So dark and filled with mystery.. It was like I was captured in a spell..
He never broke eye contact with me, his lips curling up into a smirk.
"Ryan."Jackson said snapping his fingers in my face. I blinked and glared at him.
"You okay? You zoned out there." He asked his face holding an expression of worry. I glared more, irritated for no reason.
"Dude I'm fi-" I let go of the wall, my skates slid out from under me and before I could process anything I was falling. Colors rushing by.
"Ryan!" I heard Jackson yell. Instinctively I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the contact I was about to make with the floor..
But I didn't hit the floor.
I was grabbed under my arms, being yanked up until my skates were on the floor again. I slowly opened my eyes. Only to be met by his..
I could feel my face heating up as he smirked at me.
"You should be more careful love" he whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver. I tried to talk, but words wouldn't come out.
And he knew..
Smirking he let me go and I slipped on my skates again only for my waist to be caught by Jackson.
He was glaring daggers at the person who had caught me.. Brown eyes.. That's what I should call him...
Jackson pulled me against his chest, a low grumbling sound coming out.. My heart skipped a beat.. He had never acted like this before..
"Jackson.." I whispered looking up at him with fear, his green grayish eyes locking with mine.. They were dark. Darker then normal.
"Who are you?" He growled at brown eyes. His breathing picking up as his fingers dug into my waist. I bit my lip. He was hurting me..
Brown eyes studied my face, his eyes slowly narrowing. I bit my lip harder as Jackson dug his fingers more into my waist.
The tension was thick in the air.. And then all of a sudden brown eyes threw his hands up backing away. That same smirk etched on his face.
"Don't worry, I'm no criminal." He paused. "Well maybe I am, but the names Conner." He winked causing my heart to skip a beat.
Conner... I like that.
