April sat next to her sister on the couch in the drawing room.
Elizabeth and David walked into the house. David ran to Angelique and hugged her.
Barnabas smiled and David went over to April.
"Angelique, David wanted to come and see the girls. He wants to know if he can stay the night here tonight?" Said Elizabeth.
Angelique looked over at David. He looked as if he had grown.
David had just turned fifteen and he still acted like a kid.
April threw a basketball at David and he caught it. They stood up and played toss.May stood up with them.
"Yeah, we would love to have David overnight with the girls." Replied Angelique.
David gently threw it to May.
May threw it up in the air and it hit the lamp off the coffee table.
Barnabas ran over to them and picked May and April up. He put them down next to Angelique.David walked over to his aunt and cousins.
"How many times do i have to tell you kids to go play catch outside, so you don't break anything." Yelled Angelique.
David, April, and May took the basketball outside.
Carolyn stood outside.
May's eyes lit up and she ran to them.
Carolyn and jeb had a son that was the same age as May. Carolyn had fed May when Angelique's milk hadn't came in yet so she was very close to her cousin. Carolyn picked her up and kissed her cheek. Carolyn then put her down and picked up April. She kissed her on the head too and then put her onto the ground.
"Are your parents inside?" Asked Carolyn.
April nodded with a smile. Carolyn walked into the house. Their cousin and May went over to play in the dirt.
"Lets play catch again without breaking anything." Puffed David.
April touched his arm and ran off.
David blinked dropping the ball, then chased after her.
May ran over to April and they both were being chased by their older cousin.
David ran up to May and touched her hard on the back.
"Your it!" Yelled David.
May fell with a thud and began crying.
David and April stopped to look at her. April walked over to her little sister. She hugged May and May stopped crying. April could see her mother watching from the window.
"Tank you April." Whispered May while rubbing tears off her face.
May took her big sisters hand and led her to their little cousin.
The little boy looked at April with a gasp. April rolled her eye and put her hair over her bad eye, so it wouldn't show.
May looked over at her older sibling.
"Lets make a mud pie, Sage." Said April.
Sage and May nodded.
April ran inside to the kitchen. Angelique walked in and looked at April. April climbed onto the counter and reached for a mixing bowl.
Angelique walked over to her eldest daughter and took her off the counter top. She grabbed the mixing bowl and handed it to her child.
"If you need help with anything, just ask." Murmured Angelique.
April nodded and grabbed a water bottle. She ran outside.
