Gray x Reader

You walked down the streets of Magnolia, tugging your fur coat tighter around yourself as your breath was visible in the winter air. It had snowed the last two days so of course everything was covered in the snow, and it continued to snow as you walked.

   Winter wasn't your thing, you would rather just stay in bed cuddled up with your blankets but you had to get to the guild. You need money to pay the overly priced rent.

  You approached the guild, praying that it would at least be warm in the guild, you didn't think you could take the cold anymore so you hurried into the guild.

  Almost as if on cue a table was headed your way, the guild was in another brawl, probably started by Natsu and Gray like always. You didn't really like the battles they had, especially when you got sucked into it, that was the worst.

  Quickly, your leg went up, making the table split in half so it only hit the guild doors(that at some point closed) and not you.

"Oh, good morning, ______" Mira greeted you once she noticed you were in the guild. You responded with a smile and a smile good morning back before you waved over to a table were Lucy sat.

   A lot of the guild didn't know you were in the guild, you were always so quiet and so...shy. The only the friends you really made were Mira, Lucy, Wendy, and Gray. You walked over to Lucy and sat down coughing at bit, your throat felt completely dry and you felt a bit lightheaded all of the sudden,

"____ are you alright, you don't look to good, your face is red." Lucy said to you concerned putting the back of her hand on your forehead, making you shiver, her hand felt like ice,

"Is ____-san alright?" You believe  Wendy said, you weren't sure,

"My vision is blurry," You quietly muttered, "Is that you, Wendy-san?" You asked as you felt a chair pull up and two tiny hands go onto your arm,

"Maybe is I use my healing-" Wendy was cut off by another voice,

"No Wendy! You used to much magic healing Natsu and Gray from the brawl you can't us-" You didn't hear anymore, it was just black.

You started to come back to your senses a while later, you felt hot, to hot for your liking. You started to kick your legs to find yourself kicking something soft off of your body. You slowly opened your eyes, looking at a blue wall, you were at your house, how?

"Your finally awake." You heard a males voice say, it seemed it was right beside you so you quickly turned over, face it face with Gray.

"G-Gray?" You stuttered, you didn't talk much as you did with the girls but you were close. He was the reason you joined the guild after he saved you from being kidnapped by the person he was being payed to catch.

   He gave you a bit of a smirk, he didn't bother to move back even how close our faces were to each other,

"W-what are you d-doing here?" You stuttered a bit, leaning your head back a bit from his face, it was a bit uncomfortable..

"Taking care of you, you have no one else at your apartment, you can't do everything alone, ____" He said, he seemed concerned thought for seemed to be to good to be true,

"Don't you have missions to do with Juvia?" You asked. Juvia was always calling you a love rival for trying to steal her "Gray-sama" so you thought they were together.

  Gray only started to laugh and ruffled your hair, "Yeah! Good one ___" He laughed has his hand was on your shoulder and the edge of the bed for support.

His touch made you shiver, "Your touch is cold..." You muttered quietly, "I don't like the cold..." You tried to snuggled into the little blanket you had left but it was taken away by Gray,

"H-Hey, why did you do that?" You shiver only to be pulled into the arms of Gray.

"That hurt _____" He playfully pouted making you laugh a bit but you still shivered, your apartment didn't exactly have a heater in it, 'I'll make you pay for that one!" He said as he tackled you onto the bed,

"H-Hey!" You shivered, "Your freezing!" You yelped hugging yourself,

"So what are you going to do, let me be on top of you?"

"Fine then, how about I warm you up then." You smirked hitting the ice mage off of you, allowing you to sit up,

"What's that suppose to mean huh?" Gray said playfully, poking your side,

"It means this!" You said as you suddenly put him into a bear hug making Gray's eyes widen as his face turned red. He was cold still, you knew you couldn't change that but you liked being this close to Gray and not making it be in an awkward way.

Gray, nuzzled your neck a bit, making you jump as he hugged you back,

"Your warm, _____" Gray purred into your neck,

"Well opposites attract." Your grinned, ruffling his hair a bit,

"That's why I like you _____" He said, relaxing in your arms, his head on your chest,

"Just what I'd love to hear~" You sang, he seemed much warmer to you now. Probably because you got used to his cold-ness, at least you got your happy ending.
