It was silent in the guild, already late at night as you sat at a table, bored. You'd go home but there was nothing to do there either, you lived alone anyways. Drink in hand and cheek resting on the palm of your free hand, you sighed lightly.

Of course there were other people still in the guild besides you, but they were mostly silent, of course that's how it would be if it weren't for..

"What are you doing here so late ___?" You heard a voice from behind you. You felt your heartbeat increase as you turned towards the voice who belong to, no one other than Sting. Quickly, you glared at him,

"What do you want, Sting?" You asked bitterly, placing your glass down. Sting seemed to hang around you a lot. Not a lot like him hanging out with Rouge, but pretty close. He frowned at you a bit,

"I just asked you a simple question ___." Sting replied, placing his hands on his hips. You could never help sneaking peeks at Sting's figure. You knew how good it was and how toned he was, it always brought a blush onto your face.
Quickly turning you head away from Sting you scoffed at him, "Yeah, but it's none of your business."

"Aw, that's so mean ____! I thought we were friends." Sting faked being hurt, trying to look at your face. You turned your head away again, sighing softly,

"We are friends Sting. You're just a highly annoying one." Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Sting put his hands on his hip, getting ready to say something. A soft groan escaped from your lips,

"Why don't you just go out on a job or something? You just sit here all day." He asked you. You only shook your head some. Of course you went on jobs, though it was only when Sting and Rouge went out on jobs. When they weren't, you stayed here, so you can, let's just say 'keep an eye on him'. To put it in a less stalkerish way. You always had liked Sting, you were just too shy to tell him. Your slight ego got in the way too.

"Hey, what are you blushin' about?" Sting suddenly asked you, breaking you from your train of thought. You panicked slightly, and shook your head again. Sting had made his way in front of you, to see your face. Quickly, you put on a stone cold expression,

"None of your business, how about that for an answer?" You quickly snapped at him.

"That mouth can get you trouble, you know." Sting simply said as your hands went onto your hips. You mocked the way he stood when Sting's hands were on his hips,

"And who's going to get me in trouble? You? I don't think so." You continued to talk back easily. Sting got closer to you, to where there wasn't much space between you two anymore. You could feel your heart beating in your chest rapidly, it felt like it could burst out of your chest any second. You were completely unsure if you were blushing or not anymore, but you at least knew your unreadable expression on your face didn't change.

"You forgot who is one of the strongest in this guild, ___, you don't even compare to me." He boasted at you, making you glare at him,

"Want to fight to see if that's really true? I'll tell you right now, I can debunk that small theory you have there." You challenged him, as he grinned at you,

"You pick the place." He told you simple, stepping back away from you. Right, you couldn't fight in the guild, if your master found out.. it just wouldn't be good. You nodded at Sting and turned around, walking out of the guild. You heard Sting following behind you, before walking up beside you. Walking faster, you try not to look at him, but focus on where you were going. You knew of a small field on the west side of town. It'd be nice to fight, and away from any buildings or civilization.
