"Don't you mom me, and you young man, leave my house right now!" she shouted. Chris got off the bed. He hurried out of the room. "Your grounded," she said. "What?" I asked. "You heard me," she said. "You can't ground me, I'm 16, I'm not a kid anymore!" I shouted at her. "Don't raise your voice at me Kizziana, I don't care how old you are, as long as you are living under my roof, you will abide by my rules!" she shouted. "If you got pregnant do you know how much shame and disgrace you would've bought to my name," she continued. "None of your friends are doing this," she added. "You know what mom, don't even get me started okay, we weren't doing anything, and all you care about is what your friends would think,when dad died and I couldn't deal with it and I flunked my classes, where were my friends, where were you," I said as I started to cry. "I was right here for you," she replied. "No you weren't, you were ashamed, too worried about what your friends would think," I retorted. I ran out of the room.
